"Unreliable narrator"— Love Island USA fans slam Leah for misquoting Miguel to Serena

Love Island USA season 6's episode 24 saw the aftermath of the latest recoupling ceremony. During the segment, Leah and Miguel spoke about what their dynamics would be moving forward since the male cast member had said that although he had brought someone else, Sierra, back to the villa, he wanted to get to know both of them more.

When Miguel questioned how they were supposed to test their relationship without bringing the other connection into the house, Leah pointed out that she tried explaining the same thing to Jana. The two also spoke about Kordell and Serena's equation, and the male islander explained:

"The other 90% he kept saying to her, "if you come back with me, how would you feel if I get back with Serena?" And she said "I'd be fine with that."

Leah later told Serena about the same but misquoted what Miguel said. She said:

"Kordell told Miguel that "If I go back, I want you to know like, I'm probably still gonna pick Serena." And then he told her that "I'm 90% Serena, 10% you." If a man told me he was 10% me, I would say, "F—k you."

Love Island USA season 6 fans chimed in on the situation and blamed Leah for causing drama by misinterpreting what Miguel said to her. One person wrote on X:

Love Island USA season 6 called Leah an "agent of chaos" for spreading misinformation that added fuel to Kordell and Serena's fight:

"When tf will someone check Leah for spreading misinformation?? Miguel tells Leah that Kordell's Casa Amor video was a fraction and 90% was him considering Serena, and Leah tells Serena that Miguel said Kordell's 90% Serena vs. 10% Daia?? She's an agent of chaos #loveislandusa," a fan wrote.

Love Island USA season 6 — Leah misquotes Miguel's comment to Serena, which further enrages the cast member

In Love Island USA season 6 episode 24, Miguel pulled Leah aside for a conversation and explained what happened in Casa Amor. The cast member said he wanted to clarify that just because he came back with Sierra didn't mean he wasn't interested in her.

He added that he couldn't have known how he truly felt about Leah or Sierra if he hadn't brought the latter back to the Love Island USA season 6 villa, and Leah agreed. She said she told Jana the same thing in regards to her equation with Kenny, noting that Kenny and Miguel spent more time in Casa Amor than they did in the villa with them.

While explaining, Miguel touched on Kordell and Serena's situation, noting that the male islander didn't do anything wrong. He told the Love Island USA season 6 star that the clips they saw were a small part of what happened in Casa Amor. He added that Kordell spent most of his time telling Daia that he might still choose Serena.

Later in the episode, while in conversation with Serena and Jana, Leah opened up about what Kordell apparently said to Miguel. Hearing the "90% and 10%" comment, Serena said that although she didn't blame Daia, it was disrespectful.

Serena later confirmed the comment with Daia, who confirmed it was never said. This made the Love Island USA season 6 star question Miguel's intentions, and she yelled at him before she got into a fight with Kordell.

Love Island USA fans chimed in on the situation and blamed Leah for misquoting Miguel and unintentionally adding fuel to the fire.
