Big Brother season 26 has come close to its finale, with week 10 of the show starting with episode 31, which aired on September 22. The episode saw Makensy bagging the 'Head of Household' title after winning a competition where contestants stacked blocks shaped like candy on one another.
However, Makensy was put into a dilemma when it came to choosing nominees for the week. She kept circling back to Angela because she wanted to break the Leah-Angela alliance. She also disliked her since she evicted Matt, her ally, in the first week of the show when she won the HoH.
For her second nomination, Makensy thought of going after the second alliance, Kimo-Rubina. But Leah tried persuading her to get Chelsie because according to her, Chelsie was swinging on both sides and would come for herself or Makensy when the time came.
Chelsie, on the other hand, talked to Makensy about how Leah was a threat to her game because of her strong alliance with Angela and her tendency to nominate Chelsie if she won the HoH. Makensy bought her and started eyeing Leah as a possible nominee. Fans of Big Brother flocked to X to call Makensy out on her decisions as the HoH.
"If Mj knows Chelsie/Cam in a duo, wouldn’t it be smarter to get one of them out? like baby, pls use your brain," a fan wrote.
"Leah telling Makensy that Chelsie manipulated her hoh & is now targeting her .. MAKENSY OPEN UR EYES," wrote another fan.
"Poor Makensy I don't think her frontal lobe is fully developed. Because if it was she would see how much Chelsie is gaming in her face and trying to cover her own *ss," a third one commented.
"Makensy: If I nominate Leah and she's evicted, I'll lose her jury vote. NEWSFLASH: You'll lose ALL the jury votes if you get to the end against Chelsie," another fan wrote.
Some Big Brother fans called Chelsie and "puppet master" and said that she was asking Makensy to target Leah because Leah was a threat to herself and not to Makensy.
"I will never hate a player capable of convincing another player to do the worst move possible for that 2nd player's own game. I live for a good puppet master," said one person.
"If Makensy allows Chelsie to convince her to get Leah out this week she does not deserve to win because that move makes NO SENSE for her," an X user commented.
"Chelsie is coaching Makensy on what to say when she nominates a person that will never nominate her but will nominate Chelsie the first chance she gets….this is why I watch this show," another user said.
"M*kensy targeting the two people she could have used to form a new majority…," chimed in a third one.
Makensy's Power of Veto in week 10 of Big Brother season 26
The Live feeds section of Big Brother on Paramount+ revealed that Makensy also became the one to win the Power of Veto on week 10. She is most likely to skip using it because both her nominees, Angela and Kimo, were put up to break an alliance.
However, she could swing if either Leah or Chelsie can sway her in their favour and get her to nominate the opposite. The recent episode saw Leah overhearing Kimo, Rubina, and Chelsie whispering to each other near the poolside.
When Leah walked into their conversation, they allegedly changed the topic. According to Makensy, they could've just been talking about Angela, a close ally of Leah's. If what Makensy said on Big Brother was true, the trio might vote to evict Angela, while Leah might convince Cam and Makensy to fix their sights on Kimo.
