“Very mature”- The Real Housewives of Orange County fans praise Katie and Tamra’s daughters

Episode 11 of season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County was released on Bravo on September 19, 2024. The episode titled Singled Out saw Tamra and Katie take their daughters on a candle-making meet.

Katie shared that her daughter Kaili and Tamra's daughter Sophia had been friends for only a bit. She added that they were very similar because they were both artists and gamers and shared a similar rough patch when it came to their biological fathers.

At the candle-making, Kaili shared that she wouldn't let in a guy who didn't treat her right or was mean to her even a bit. Katie noted that this might have stemmed from Kaili's dad mistreating her mother.

Sophia spoke about marriage during The Real Housewives of Orange County confessional. She said that marriages weren't something to be taken lightly because she believed most marriages end in a bad way. She added that children are affected by parents' parting, so people should definitely be more careful with who they choose to marry.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County reacted to Sophia and Kaili's wisdom, as many appreciated the daughters' opinions. Meanwhile, others pointed out that Sophia might've been talking about her own mother when she talked about abandoning kids. This was potentially because Tamra's other child, Sidney, stayed with her father and didn't speak to her.

"I will say Tamra and Katie have pretty wise daughters. They both seem very mature. Sophia, especially, was speaking facts. It’s very irresponsible to have children when you truly don’t want them," said one fan.

Other agreed with the sentiment, with many claiming that the two girls had the "right mindset" and knew from a young age what they wouldn't "put up with" in a relationship.

The talk with Tamra and Katie's daughters on episode 11 of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18

Tamra Judge and Katie Ginella sat down with Sophia and Kaili for a bonding candle-making session on episode 11 of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18. During the session, Tamra brought up that Sophie had told her about Kaili's boyfriend.

Kaili clarified that he was a guy she had been talking to before revealing that she had stopped communicating with him. She told them that he had gaslit her into telling him she loved him only a week and a half after they began talking.

Kaili went on to say that the person also gave her and the rest of her family COVID-19. She added that she wasn't going to be talking to anyone who was even slightly mean to her. Her mother jumped in and tried to explain why Kaili was hard on men. The Real Housewives of Orange County said that her daughter was probably jaded after seeing her mother's past.

Katie also revealed that she had a 14-year-old son who lived in Georgia and how hard it was for her to put him on a plane four times a year and say goodbye.

When Tamra asked the girls to be careful about who they procreate with, Sophia said that is why she didn't want to marry or have kids. She explained that was because she believed most marriages didn't end well.
