90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 released episode 16, The Razor's Edge, on Sunday, December 15, 2024. In the episode, Faith gives Loren a homemade tattoo using a needle-like instrument and a metallic stick. She placed the needle on Loren's arm and hit it repeatedly with the stick to create the design. Although Faith was against the idea, Loren insisted that she make the tattoo.

Loren confessed he was a tattoo enthusiast but could not afford to get one done professionally. Since his next best option was getting one at home, he sought Faith's help, hoping she would design the tattoo for him. Faith was worried that the process would be painful for Loren but he assured her he was prepared to endure it. She tattooed the Philippines' flag and her name's initials on his arm.

Later in the episode, Loren and Faith officialized their relationship by getting engaged. Although Faith was hesitant at first, she eventually said "yes" hoping their relationship would last forever. She was overjoyed to have found someone who accepted her for who she was.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans were shocked to see Loren get a tattoo from Faith. They took to X to comment on how unsanitary and risky the process was.

In one segment of the episode, Loren told Faith he wanted to get a "jailhouse" style tattoo on his arm. When Loren gave the responsibility to Faith, she expressed that it was a "weird thing" to do. However, she was willing to try since it was "different."

While speaking to the cameras, Loren explained that he learned the fundamental mechanism of doing tattoos by looking at the tattoo machine and its "in-and-out" movement. Since his return to the U.S.A. was nearing, he wanted to commemorate his time in the Philippines and with Faith by getting the tattoo.

Loren believed the process brought them closer to one another and said:

"Well, this is great couples bonding."

In a confessional, Faith expressed that although the procedure was "insane," she appreciated it since it was not boring. When the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member saw blood oozing out of Loren's arm, she asked him if he was alright, to which he replied that he had tolerated more hurtful situations in life.

Loren was pleased with the outcome, and happy to have the letter F, Faith's initial, engraved on his body.
