"Wasn't genuine"— 90 Day Fiancé alum Kobe reacts to Natalie's apology to Sophie

90 Day Fiancé, TLC's long-running reality show is currently airing two spin-offs of the franchise — Before the 90 Days and The Last Resort. The latter focuses on former cast members who are still together as they give their relationship another shot by filming the show as they go through couple's therapy during a group retreat.

Alums of the franchise, Kobe and Emily recently appeared in Access Hollywood's 90 Day Fiancé: Behind the Drama segment to chime in on the events of episode 5, which aired on December 31, 2024.

The couple commented on Natalie apologizing to Sophie for calling her a "h**ker" and throwing her drink after her partner, Josh Weinstein invited her to Las Vegas. While talking about Natalie, Emily said the cast member was similar to Jasmine as they were both quick to react while Kobe commented on Natalie's apology itself.

"Nah, it wasn't genuine," Kobe said.

During Access Hollywood's 90 Day Fiancé: Behind the Drama, Emily & Kobe React To Episode 5, the alums spoke and discussed the ongoing conflict between Sophie, Natalie, and Josh.

The host asked the couple whether they felt Natalie's apology to Sophie in episode 5 was "genuine" and the two didn't think so. Emily commented on Natalie's personality and said that much like Jasmine, she was "quick to react" and "snap at somebody." She added that she didn't think Natalie wanted to have "as many enemies" on her side which is why she spit out a "fake apology."

The 90 Day Fiancé's former cast member stated that Natalie didn't want every 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 cast member against her. Kobe also chimed in on the situation and said that Natalie let her "emotions take over so fast."

"Like she does things based on her emotions which is not really very mature," he said.

The couple further chimed in on Sophie not accepting Natalie's apology and the host asked whose side they were on during the argument. Emily said she was Team Sophie although Natalie attempted to do the "bigger thing" by apologizing to The Last Resort season 2 star. However, the TLC reality television personality didn't think the apology was "sincere".

Emily further said that Natalie "went after Sophie" and recalled Natalie calling the 90 Day Fiancé star a "h**ker".

"So yeah, if I was Sophie, I'd be pretty salty about a half a** apology too," Emily said.

The couple further commented on Sophie showing Natalie the messages that were exchanged between her and Josh. Emily said she wasn't "honestly too shocked" because she showed the "receipts."

However, she changed her stance and said she was a little shocked because during their season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Sophie didn't show "any receipts" and kept "talking."

"Here she actually showed them so she actually had them so I'm happy she did that," Emily said.

Kobe recalled their Tell All and he felt Sophie was trying to protect her husband, Rob's interest back then. However, during The Last Resort season 2, she didn't give a "f*ck." The host further asked the couple what they thought about Josh claiming innocence and asked whether they felt he was into Sophie.

"Sophie's a hottie," the couple simultaneously said.

Emily said there was "no way" it was "innocent" and felt Josh was trying to "shoot his shot" and that it didn't work.
