“Waste of time”- The Real Housewives of Potomac fans react to Keiarna suing Deborah for giving her a forehead scar

Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac made it to episode 13 on January 5. The episode, Titled, Rum-ble in the Jungle, followed the ladies on their trip to Panama. While there, Keiarna talked more about her lawsuit against Deborah Williams, a "friend of" the cast.

The roots of the lawsuit date back to season 8, when Deborah had a fight with Candiace, after Gizelle and Ashley's fashion event. Keiarna sided with Candiace and was next to her when she was caught in the crossfire between the two fighting parties. Deborah threw a glass at Candiace which landed on Keiarna, giving her a permanent forehead scar.

She sued Deborah for $10 million, while the opposite party filed a rebuttal lawsuit for $7 million. Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of Potomac saw Keiarna revealing the information to the ladies. She said that she took the step because she had to live with the scar for the rest of her life and wanted a payback for it. When the ladies questioned Deborah's ability to pay, Keiarna said she didn't care where the latter got her money from, she just wanted it.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac came to X to react to Keirna talking about the lawsuit. Most sided with her, but some thought it was a waste of time.

"Keiarna suing Deborah……..waste of time. I’m so tired of hearing about that," a fan said.

"Deborah working extra shift’s on Sesame Street to pay off Keiarna’s surgery bills," said another fan.

"Keiarna said that it’s the principle in this civil lawsuit that she has with Sesame Street. I’m not mad at it!," added a third.

"Keiarna said yes imma need that heffa to run me my money I know that's right," another wrote.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac praised Keirna for not caring whether Deborah had the financial ability to pay.

"Gizelle said what you suing a broke ho for? lmaooooooo. Keiarna said f*ck it, she’s going to make her pockets hurt as much as her scar hurts her. Lmao period," an X user wrote.

"I’m with Keiarna!!! idc who you get it from or how you work it out, Debra will find a way to come up with the money," another X user wrote.

"Exactly, Keiarna! It’s not your concern that Debbie doesn’t have money. She can pay you for the rest of your life," commented one.

"Keiarna suing Deborah is the right thing, Sesame Street got in all their faces and started an issue and now there’s repercussions," another wrote.

More on The Real Housewives of Potomac star Keiarna's lawsuit and Deborah's rebuttal lawsuit

Both Keiarna and Deborah came to the show in cameo roles, as friends of the cast members, in season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which aired in November 2023. The lawsuit in question was filed in February 2024 and sued Deborah for "assault", "battery" and "intentional infliction of emotional distress".

Keiarna wanted $10 million in punitive damages after sustaining a scar from the fight which erupted because Deborah commented on Candiace's husband Chris. According to Keirna, the glass that hit her head was heavy and full of beverage. Including the details of her scar, the claim asked the money for:

"Extreme and permanent pain and suffering, permanent and disfiguring injury to her face and forehead, humiliation, mental distress, and past and future medical expenses."

After Keirna's lawsuit, a rebuttal lawsuit was filed by Deborah, and she demanded $7 million for "punitive damages, plus interest and costs for the assault and battery". According to Deborah, Keiarna punched her in the face first, in an attempt to side with Candiace.
