"We're not in a good space" — Young, Famous & African star Fantana opens up about trouble with Zari

In Young, Famous & African season 3 episode 1, Nadia picked up Fantana, and they headed to Zari's wedding with Shakib. Both Nadia and Fantana expressed their surprise at receiving invitations. Nadia shared in a confessional that she didn't expect to be invited to Zari's wedding. Fantana also revealed that she and Zari weren't on good terms.

"I was kind of surprised when I received an invite from Zari to her wedding, because we are not in a good space right now at all," stated Fantana.

For the unversed, Fantana went out with Diamond who has two kids with Zari, which led to some conflict between Zari and Fantana.On the way to the wedding, Fantana told Nadia she thought the invitation was a prank. Nadia asked if Fantana had spoken to Zari since their social media feud that ensued between them. Fantana said no, and Nadia reminded her that she had sworn at Zari's husband.

Fantana admitted on Young, Famous & African that she was confused about why she was invited but decided to attend for entertainment. In a confessional, Fantana explained that her feud with Zari started when she revealed what Diamond said behind her back. Despite their past issues, Fantana claimed she was happy for Zari, saying she had found love and could now leave her alone.

Nadia asked Fantana about her relationship with Diamond, Zari's ex. Fantana revealed that she had fallen for Diamond's charms, but it turned out he had a girlfriend. Nadia confirmed that everyone knew Diamond had a girlfriend, and he had been cheating on her with Fantana.

Fantana explained to Nadia that Diamond had denied having a girlfriend, despite people telling her otherwise. Fantana felt that Diamond should have been honest with her about his situation. In a confessional, Fantana said that she and Diamond had promised to always be honest with each other. However, Fantana felt that Diamond had left out important details that hurt her.

"So, basically, there’s a girl in Tanzania he was dating. I don't know her name or whatever. She's a musician as well. I don't really know," said Fantana in a confessional.

The cast of Young, Famous & African later arrived at Zari's wedding, but some members were uneasy about trusting each other. Swanky Jerry, however, revealed that he had been working on himself through therapy. As the guests mingled, Nadia asked about Annie's whereabouts. Annie soon arrived, and in a confessional, she expressed her desire to confront Nadia about their past issues.

Meanwhile, DJ Naked chatted with Shakib, Zari's fiancé, who asked about Zari's past relationship with Diamond on Young, Famous & African. The conversation made DJ Naked uncomfortable. The ceremony began, and Zari and Shakib exchanged vows and rings. Zari was overjoyed, feeling like she had married her best friend.

After the ceremony, Annie confronted Nadia about their past disagreement. The scene then shifted to the dinner table, where Fantana expressed her frustration about being seated next to an empty chair, which she believed was meant for Diamond. Fantana felt Zari might have done this on purpose, given their strained relationships.

Kefilwe, a newcomer on Young, Famous & African, caught Luis's attention as she walked in. She then approached Swanky, which upset Zari, who hadn't been informed about Swanky bringing a guest. Annie took the microphone to thank Zari for inviting her, despite their differences. Nadia responded by saying Annie was being insincere.

Diamond later shared that he hadn't received a wedding invitation, but would have attended if he had. He also expressed frustration about Zari speaking negatively about him on social media. Annie met with Fantana and discussed her issue with Nadia, saying she felt let down by the situation. Meanwhile, Nadia had a separate conversation with Kefilwe.
