The Traitors UK Season 3 aired episode 2 on Thursday, January 2, 2025. It saw the elimination of three cast members — Elen, Keith, and Nathan. Nathan was the first contestant banished in Episode 2 followed by 65-year-old window cleaner Keith, who was "murdered" by the conspirators. Elen was the third player the cast members bid farewell to after an emotional roundtable.

While introducing herself on the show, Elen, a 24-year-old translator from Cardiff, mentioned that she struggled to express herself in English since Welsh was her first language. It often led English-speaking people to underestimate her and think she was "dumb." Elen planned to use it to her advantage, keeping her genuine feelings hidden from the players inside the castle.

However, Elen's plans to advance in the game fell through and she found herself banished from the competition. The contestants cited Elen's emotional personality as one of the major reasons for sending her home. Despite Elen claiming to be one of the Faithfuls, the cast members struggled to believe her. Consequently, Elen was sent packing with nine votes against her.

The Traitors UK fans were unhappy with Elen's elimination. They took to X to criticize the contestants' decision, claiming Elen deserved to stay longer.

"Elen being the ONLY one to correctly vote a Traitor at both round tables and being eliminated WE WERE ROBBED," a fan wrote.

"Justice for Elen - she just struggled to carry a bunch of powder in buckets, that's no reason to vote her out," another fan commented.

The Traitors UK fans were unhappy to see Elen get banished from the competitive series.

"I think there is a strong woman Traitor" — The Traitors UK star Elen suspected Linda

During deliberations at the roundtable, Livi told Elen that she suspected her because of her fluctuating emotions. Since she had difficulty reading Elen, Livi could not tell if she was being her genuine self. While describing the incident that poked her suspicion, Livi said:

"At the breakfast table today I couldn't help but notice you came in really emotional. I know it's a stressful thing, but I felt happy to walk into that breakfast room and you were really sad but then switched it up and you seemed really happy. I don't know what to do now."

Elen defended herself, saying she changed her mood because she did not want to appear nervous in front of others. She revealed that she constantly had to remind herself to stay composed. However, The Traitors UK contestants remained skeptical of her "switching" demeanor.

While most rallied against the translator, Charlotte supported Elen, revealing that she did not suspect her. At that point, Freddie asked Elen who she doubted, to which she answered:

"Just that I think there is a strong woman Traitor. I have a theory that I still stand by. I disagree it's not suspicious. That's me trying to lead as a Faithful."

Elen began doubting Linda after she mistakenly looked at Claudia Winkleman, the show's host when she said "Traitors." As a result, Elen cast her vote against Linda, convinced she was one of the conspirators.

Despite pleading her case, Elen failed to persuade the contestants' decision to banish her. After the results were announced, Elen revealed she was a Faithful, first in Welsh and then in English, shocking everyone else. Livi who voted to eliminate The Traitors UK star, broke down after the truth was disclosed.

"I feel a bit emotional. I was just so wrong and I just feel so sorry for Elen," she said.
