“What a fella”- Married at First Sight fans react to Luke’s letter to Amy

Married at First Sight UK season 9 ended with a reunion dinner party where all the stars gathered one last time to give updates on their relationships and resolve conflicts among each other. The episode aired on November 13 was watched by the hosts Mel Schilling, Paul Brunson, and Charlene Douglas.

Luke and Amy were among the couples who the audience thought were going great until they suddenly started to have differences, and their relationship broke off. At the start of the reunion episode, Luke said in a Married at First Sight confessional that he wished to get back with Amy. He also shared that he sent her a letter and a turtle brooch on her birthday.

While talking about the letter Luke sent her on the reunion couch, Amy told some of her girl co-contestants a line that had baffled her. She mentioned that after Luke expressed how much he missed her and wanted her back, he also wrote that he regretted not having "terrorize[d] your b*mhole."The statement caused a stir among the cast members and hosts. Fans of Married at First Sight also took to X to comment on it.

"Hahaahahahahahahahahahahahaahhaahahahahahahahaha Luke is sick, terrorise your b*m hole hahahaa. He can’t help himself hahahahahah what a fella," said one fan.

Most Married at First Sight fans found it hard to take the comment seriously because they thought it was funny.

"The entire country just spit their tea out in unison hearing what Luke wrote in that letter," an X user wrote.

Luke's comment and how some people at Married at First Sight UK reacted to it on season 9 episode 35

When on the Married at First Sight confessional, Luke admitted to sending Amy a letter which said he wanted to get back and that if she wished to give things another try, she should wear the turtle brooch he gifted her. His gift was thoughtful because he remembered that Amy loved turtles.

However, Amy's version of the letter wasn't the same because his "terrorize your b*mhole" line was all that stuck out to her. She didn't wear the brooch because she didn't wish to get back to someone who wrote that to her.

When she mentioned the line to some of her co-stars, Sionnain gawked with her mouth open. The hosts watching over also let out groans. Paul even covered his mouth in disbelief, while Charlene said that was inappropriate.

Kristina also had her mouth covered in disbelief, while Emma didn't quite get it because she thought he said "televised" instead of "terrorized," which the ladies corrected. Amy said she was sick of such behavior, but Charlene said that if Luke wanted Amy back, he wouldn't have gone about it the right way.
