Angelina Pivarnick pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge in connection to a domestic violence incident in June at the home she shares with her fiance, Vinny Tortorella, in New Jersey.
The Jersey Shore star appeared at the Freehold Township Municipal Court on Tuesday, October 1, per Asbury Park Press, months after the incident happened. She pleaded guilty and will reportedly receive a conditional dismissal for the disorderly conduct charge, given that she meets the probational requirements.
If Pivarnick completes her probation requirements over the next year, the judge reportedly ruled that the guilty plea will be erased from her record. Moreover, the prosecutor reportedly filed a motion to dismiss her four other charges.
The MTV reality star was previously the subject of a municipal summons issued in June, where she was charged with criminal mischief, simple assault, obstructing the administration of law, and resisting arrest.
On Tuesday, her attorney, James Leonard Jr., addressed the judge's ruling in a statement to Page Six. He said:
"All of Angelina's criminal charges were dismissed. She admitted responsibility for a non-criminal offense... We are very happy with the outcome."
Angelina Pivarnick's attorney mentioned in June that a "very minor incident" happened, referring to the domestic violence incident. He claimed that it was "exacerbated by an adverse reaction to prescribed over-the-counter medication," and said that they are looking to resolve the issue favorably.
Everything to know about Angelina Pivarnick's domestic violence incident and corresponding charges
Asbury Park Press reported on June 7 that Angelina Pivarnick from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation has been charged with simple assault and criminal mischief, as well as obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest. The report cited the June 2 municipal summons. The complaint signed by Officer Christoph Poss explains the other charges. It reads:
"[Pivarnick] did commit an act of obstructing by purposely running from uniformed officers in an attempt to run into a house, lock the door, and prevent law enforcement to conduct a domestic violence investigation."
The Jersey Shore star also received a resisting arrest charge after the cops mentioned that she pulled her arms away and refused to comply with their instructions. This part was reportedly an incident that happened once she was taken into custody. She was arrested on June 2, at around 11 pm after a visit from the Freehold Township Police Department.
While the name of the victim was redacted from the complaint, it detailed the "bodily injury" the victim received. It noted that Pivarnick had struck the victim "with her hands/fists causing scratches, redness, and complaint of pain," hence, a simple assault charge.
As for her criminal mischief charge, the complaint noted that Angelina Pivarnick had struck the victim's car with her hands, "causing damage under $500." Per Asbury Park Press, the victim allegedly gave the cops a statement about the incident involving the vehicle and gave them a video of the criminal mischief.
The June incident, however, wasn't the first one involving Pivarnick, as she and Tortorella were reportedly the subject of a previous instance of domestic violence in November 2023.
The reality TV star allegedly dialed 911 at the time, per police reports, but declined to press any charges after cops arrived. It was the second time Angelina Pivarnick called the cops on her fiance, as she called once before on July 2023.
