Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor checked into a mental health facility in late July after struggling with mental health. His move came amidst the split from his wife Brittany Cartwright after four years of marriage.
A representative for Jax told People on August 19, 2024, that the reality star will soon exit the treatment center. As per the statement,
"Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home after this week. It's been an emotional month for him and he's most looking forward to spending time with his son."
Jax shares a son, Michael Cauchi, 3 with his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright. Additionally, Jax Taylor is all set to begin filming The Valley as per TMZ. As per People, the reality star will soon open up about his experience in the inpatient stay.

Although Jax Taylor has not mentioned the exact reason behind checking into a mental health facility, he has been candid about struggling with mental health. After checking into the facility, Jax posted a photo where he could be seen holding his 3-year-old with the caption,
"Working on getting better for you buddy, I love you."
A representative for his upcoming show The Valley informed People at the time that the star was going through a "particularly sensitive time for him and his family."
"Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast. He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment."
News about Jax Taylor's mental health struggles came amidst separation from his wife Brittany Cartwright. The couple announced their separation in February this year after four years of marriage.
Cartwright during their podcast, When Reality Hits, opened up about having a "particularly rough year this past year" and said,
"Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health."
The two first met in Las Vegas in 2015 and made their relationship Instagram official in the same year. Their relationship was showcased on Vanderpump Rules and its spinoff Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky. The couple announced their engagement in June 2018 and bought a home together in May 2019, a month before they tied the knot in June 2019.
The couple announced their pregnancy in September 2020 in an Instagram post and left the show Vanderpump Rules in December 2020. After splitting in February 2024, after four years of marriage, the two continue to co-parent their 3-year-old son.
