What happened to Uncle Si? Duck Dynasty star's recent hospitalization after hunting accident visit explored

Silas Merritt Robertson, aka Uncle Si, was taken to the hospital after a hunting trip accident but is now on the mend. Last week, the Duck Dynasty star was missing from his usual appearance on his Duck Call Room podcast, sparking intrigue about what happened to him, but his absence had a valid excuse.

His podcast co-hosts Justin Martin and Phillip McMillan said on the latest episode of Duck Call Room on January 24, that Uncle Si had a bad fall during a hunting trip in Arkansas and was taken to the emergency room. Martin recalled the incident and said,

"Typical Silas Robertson, he's in a dang hurry to get out of the boat and into the Polaris, he fell. He fell trying to get out of the boat...it's steep right there."

Martin further explained that Uncle Si was in a hurry to get off their boat, and he took a long step instead of waiting for the others. However, the reality TV star fell and even hit his oxygen tank.

Martin further mentioned that Robertson didn't want anyone else to know that he fell, so he quickly "bounced right back up," claiming that he was fine. He added,

"He didn't want anybody to see that he fell. The problem is you're covered in mud now, like we know you fell."

The reality TV star, however, assured them that he was fine, but when they got to the clubhouse later, Uncle Si was nowhere in sight. He was instead sitting outside in the cold and quiet, which was unlike him, and Martin recalled thinking that he could have a concussion.

A few days later, McMillan chimed in about seeing their former Duck Dynasty co-star sitting alone, so he grilled him for information. He recalled Robertson admitting that he had been in "a lot of pain" for three days.

Uncle Si has since been discharged after being rushed to the ER for experiencing "a lot of pain"

Duck Dynasty stars Justin Martin and Phillip McMillan recalled receiving the call about their co-star being taken to the hospital. McMillan recalled his heart dropping when he heard the news, adding that he also learned that Uncle Si was referred to the emergency room from a walk-in clinic.

McMillan added he went to the hospital to inquire about his podcast co-host, saying:

"I said, 'What is going on?' And I figured he would start laughing and talking. [But] no, he said, 'Man, I'm in a lot of pain."

Robertson had to get some X-rays and blood work, and no major problems were found. Martin then chimed in about what he thought Uncle Si was experiencing that landed him in the ER, saying:

"I think Si got so nervous and so worked up that he kinda started having like [a] mini panic attack."

The panic attack, they learned, caused his low oxygen levels. However, since there were no further injuries and his medical tests were fine, he was given medicine and discharged from the ER.
