“Where are you going?" — The Challenge fans react to Aviv running off the track in the Daily Challenge

The Challenge season 40, episode 15, aired on December 4, 2024, featuring another elimination. Aviv Melmed was sent home after being disqualified in the Daily Challenge and losing to Jenny West in the Arena elimination. Aviv was nominated for elimination after running off course in the "Tight Quarters" challenge, where contestants navigated tunnels in a forest. She also broke a barrier, leading to her disqualification.

Fans of The Challenge came to X to comment on Aviv's running of the tracks. Most of them found it funny while some thought it was unfortunate because it eventually led to her elimination.

"Aviv ran to the set of season 16 The Island," said another fan.

"They made it look like Aviv cheated or something. These producers man," added a third one.

"I can’t believe Aviv got lost omgggg at least that’s better than timing out on a puzzle," another wrote.

Some fans of The Challenge also questioned producers and the cameraman following Aviv for why they didn't warn her when she was going off track.

"So they just gonna let Aviv run to the middle of nowhere??? At some point production should’ve said something… this is stupid!" an X user said.

"Why didn’t anyone in production tell Aviv she went the wrong way and missed the puzzle," another X user wrote.

"Well Aviv could have kill this if she went the right way," commented one.

"OK, where is Aviv going?! She’s doing her own challenge," commented another.

The Daily Challenge on The Challenge season 40 of episode 15

The Daily Challenge on The Challenge season 40 episode 15 was called 'Tight Quarters'. The contestants had to get down into a big network of tunnels and walk through tight and dark spaces which also consisted of bats, rats, spiders, and fire ants.

In the Tight Quarters challenge, contestants first trekked through tunnels, solved a slider puzzle, picked up a bag of blocks, and raced to another tunnel. After exiting, they ran to the finish line and solved another puzzle with the blocks.

The winner earned safety, while the last-place finisher would be up for elimination. Aviv, with a 2-minute penalty from last week, was disqualified along with Bananas and Rachel for not finishing in time. Tori and Kyland won the challenge.

It was Kyland's turn to choose between Michele and Jenny and given his friendship with Michele, Jenny was the obvious choice. Aviv went straight to the Area because she not only ran off-track but also broke down a barrier she wasn't supposed to break. So it was Aviv against Jenny.

The Arena Elimination Challenge was called Iron Traingle and the two had the throw a 10-pound ball to make it fall into a circle. Jenny won it by 2-0 and Aviv was sent home.
