The couple, who currently reside on the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas, released a joint statement on Sunday via Instagram stories.

“Like most other ppl in our area of NW Arkansas/NE Oklahoma, we were awake through much of the night as tornadoes ripped through our area. Thankfully we are ok, but friends and some family weren’t so fortunate. We are praying for those affected. Tornadoes missed us by a few miles.”

According to The Sun, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard moved into their new $385K home on the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas in 2022. The couple sold their first home, purchased in 2019, for 305K. Duggar took to Instagram to post a few pictures of her new home with the caption:

On April 19, the family held a small funeral for the stillborn baby, named Isla Marie Dillard, nearly two weeks after they announced the news.

What is Jill Duggar known for?

Jill Duggar is one of the nineteen Duggar children who were the stars of 19 Kids and Counting, a TLC reality show from 2008 to 2015. The show followed the lives of the devout Baptist Duggar family, with insights into their strict Christian household and day-to-day lives.

The show was canceled after reports came out that the eldest Duggar child, Josh, had allegedly molested four of his sisters, including Jill, between 2002 and 2003.

According to Screen Rant, she later starred in the show's sequel Counting On, which explored the lives of her and her adult siblings. The show ran for six seasons. However, Jill walked away from the series in 2017 to reportedly focus on pursuing their other passions.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard released a tell-all memoir titled Counting the Cost on September 12, 2023, detailing several secrets about the shows and the strain caused by it in their marriage. In an exclusive 2023 interview with People Magazine, Jill Duggar said:

"It caused a lot of frustration in our marriage. Especially early on, where he would feel a certain way about filming something. I'd be like, 'I hear you, I feel you, I also don't want to do whatever it is they're asking us to do either. But we have to.'"

Jill Duggar also appeared in Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, a documentary about the Duggar family and their relationship with the Institute in Basic Life Principles. The four-part series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on June 2, 2023.
