"Who cares" — Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans comment on Gary's reaction to Daisy kissing Keith

Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht aired Episode 13, Mid-Strife Crisis, on Monday, January 6, 2025. It showcased Daisy sharing a kiss with Deckhand Keith during a crew night out while ex-flame Gary watched from the sidelines. Although Gary initially supported the idea of Keith pursuing Daisy, he changed his mind later, getting discomforted by their growing closeness.

Daisy knew Gary would not be at peace with her kissing Keith regardless of what he told everyone. However, when she asked Gary if he was okay with it, he answered in the affirmative. Despite that, Daisy believed their complicated history would prevent Gary from accepting her situation with Keith.

During a conversation with Davide, Gary stated that he could not understand the dynamics between Daisy and Keith. While commenting on their chemistry, he said:

"It's a weird situation, bro. F**king hell."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans took to X to react to Gary's comments about Daisy and Keith's kiss. While some said Daisy should overlook Gary's input, others believed Gary should have acted on his feelings if he disliked her kissing someone else.

"Cloyce AND Gary feeling some type away about this kiss with Keith," another fan commented.

"Gary knows he’s lying and is upset about Daisy and Keith," a netizen tweeted.

Many Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans were unimpressed by Gary's reaction to Daisy and Keith's kiss.

"Also Gary speak the f**k up. You can't give Keith permission and then be mad he did it. If you have stronger feelings 1. Say something 2. Be the man you know she wants. She's been clear as to why it hasn't happened..." a user tweeted.

"Gary is already being Gary about Daisy getting kissed by someone else. But I feel really bad for Cloyce," a person commented.

"Gary is pissed about Keith so now he is gonna side with Dani," another fan wrote.

"Gary!!! Keith literally asked you if it was cool!!" one user posted.

Other Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans expressed a similar sentiment.

"I do have feelings for her" — Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Gary on his relationship with Daisy

In one of the segments of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht episode, Keith opened up about his feelings for Daisy, admitting they had evolved. However, he did not wish to ruin friendships because of a romantic connection, so he asked Gary if he was comfortable with him pursuing Daisy, to which Gary answered:

"If you guys hook up, I won't feel bad about it. I'm all for it."

Consequently, Keith told Daisy that he fancied her and would like to date her after the season. Daisy reciprocated Keith's feelings, saying he intrigued her. Soon after, the pair kissed, while Gary, who watched from the sidelines, shouted, "Gross." While speaking to the cameras, Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Chief Stew revealed the kiss was "pleasantly surprising."

After returning to the yacht, Gary told Daisy that he did not expect her to kiss someone. During a confessional, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star said:

"Daisy's made it pretty clear by her kissing Keith that she doesn't want anything with me. She's not my girlfriend, but I do have feelings for her and I love her to bits."

Gary added that he wanted to be in Daisy's life even if it was as a friend or colleague.
