"Why are they back?"— Love Island USA fans unhappy about Kassy and Harrison's upcoming return

Love Island USA season 6 is currently on air and drops episodes from Thursdays to Tuesdays. So far in the show, the original cast members have interacted with various 'bombshells' who were introduced into the show at different points and two more faces are on their way.

However, for some contestants, the new faces may be familiar as they previously participated in Love Island USA season 5. Much like Rob, Kassy and Harrison were also islanders in the previous season hosted by Sarah Hyland, and they are now set to return to give love another shot.

Fans of the Peacock show took to social media to comment on the situation and had differing views. One person wrote on X:

"Kassy? She folded and let Leo embarrass her and play her in her face all season. Harrison was cool but again— Why are they back?"

"Sorry but the producers are about to drop their first L with these “returning islanders” no one wants to see Harrison or Kassy ngl y’all should keep that smh #loveislandusa," a person mentioned.

"Kassy and Harrison are going to be useless as bombshells... production is ruining this iconic season with these choices #loveislandusa," a fan commented.

Love Island USA season 6 fans wondered when the 'bombshells' would arrive since news of Kassy and Harrison's arrival broke a while back:

"Wait when are Kassy and Harrison supposed to come it’s been almost a week? #loveislandusa," a person wrote.

"No on a serious note did they cancel Kassy and Harrison’s flight???? #loveislandusa," a fan commented.

Love Island USA season 6 fans further said:

"bringing back Kassy and Harrison is the most annoying sh*t that’s happened this season. the whole vibe about to be ruined. no one wants to see old islanders, especially those 2 islanders! we needed a few NEW male bombshells for the OG girls!!! like come on #loveislandusa," a fan commented.

Season 5 stars Kassy and Harrison set to enter Love Island USA season 6 as 'bombshells'

Kassy Castillo and Harrison Luna were both part of Love Island USA season 5 and are now set to return as 'bombshells' in the current season.

The two joined Maura Higgins during a segment of Aftersun where they discussed their return to the show. She opened up about who she might be interested in and said Kendall was "good-looking." She further said:

"Rob... I think only because I know him, there's some history. We've known each other since last summer. We tried to explore in Casa. Honestly, this time, I just want to come out with a strong connection, a real connection this time. We will see."

Harrison also chimed in about his strategy going into Love Island USA season 6 and said that he was going to go in and do his "thing." He added that he was going to go for who he wanted and "dive in headfirst."

"Nicole has caught my eye. Catherine. The attraction's there, we'll see if anything else follows," Harrison added.

The female islander joined the show as part of the original season 5 cast and was paired up with Leonardo Dionicio during the first coupling ceremony on Day 1. In the next ceremony, she paired up with Bergie, followed by once again pairing up with Leonardo on Day 11. On Day 21, she coupled up with Matia for a week before going back to Leonardo and on Day 32, they were named as one of the runner-up couples of the season.

Unlike Kassy, Harrison entered Love Island USA season 5 on Day 4 and paired up with Destiny the following day. As part of the next recoupling ceremony, which took place on Day 11, the islander paired up with Emily. He was eliminated from the show on Day 15.

Love Island USA season 6 airs episodes from Thursdays to Tuesdays and will return with a new episode on July 11, 2024. The segment will feature a sequel to Movie Night, where contestants will be shown more clips of their time on the show on Peacock.
