Hannah Smith is a familiar face from season 6 of Love Island USA, which saw Kordell and Serena as the winners. Hannah entered the villa on Day 1 of the season and was paired up with Kendall, who she stayed with until bombshell Nicole stole him from her on Day 8. Following this, on Day 10, Hannah had to leave the villa because she didn't find someone to couple up with in time.
Hannah's journey on Love Island was short-lived but she has been making headlines again recently, after being arrested in Atlanta last year over two felonies. The 27-year-old was arrested on September 30, 2024, for allegedly threatening and attempting to punch a police officer.
According to the police documents obtained by People on January 16, 2025, the incident occurred after Hannah was escorted out of an Atlanta concert for being "disorderly by yelling and screaming." She was charged with two felonies on January 15, one of which included a felony of obstruction and a felony of threatening police officers, including "terroristic threats."

The reports belong to the Cobb County Police Department, stating that Hannah is facing two criminal charges. It also states that Hannah not only threatened to kill Officer Kayla Winkfield but also attempted to punch and kick her. As aforementioned, the incident occurred right after the Love Island star was escorted out of an Atlanta concert venue for being disorderly.
After her arrest on September 30, 2024, a trial ensued, following which a Cobb County prosecutor, Sonya Allen, charged Hannah with the two felonies on January 15, 2025. In the charging document, the prosecutor alleged that the 27-year-old:
"Knowingly and willfully obstruct Cobb County Police Department Officer Kayla Winkfield, in the lawful discharge of her official duties by offering to do violence to said person, by lunging at and attempting to punch and kick Officer Kayla Winkfield."
The document further stated that Hannah Smith suggested the death of Kayla Winkfield, with the purpose of "terrorizing" the police officer. The court document further revealed that Hannah was intoxicated when she was forced to exit the concert venue and even allegedly punched an Emergency Medical Staff (EMS) member. However, the affected EMS personnel didn't want to press charges.
The Love Island star then allegedly attempted punching a police officer who was trying to help her out, but she didn't make contact. Following this, Smith was put on the ground by the officer, which culminated in an arrest. Even while she was held to the ground, Hannah allegedly tried to kick the officer multiple times but all her attempts failed, as she wasn't able to make contact.
Then, when she was put inside a police vehicle, she allegedly threatened to kill the cop who arrested her and also threatened to kill their sister, multiple times. According to the reports, Hannah was booked in the jail at 11:45 pm local time and was held on a $8000 bond.
Furthermore, she was bailed out on the condition that she couldn't consume alcohol, marijuana, or any other non-prescribed drugs, and she would have to come in for random tests for the same.
Meanwhile, new episodes of the ongoing Love Island: All Stars season 2 are released every day, except for Saturdays, on ITV2.
