"Wild"— Beast Games fans react to contestants "turning on" Deano for picking Player 697

Beast Games season 1 episode 7, titled, The Elimination Train, saw the contestants having to pick other contestants to go home. The first two rounds saw the cast picking Player 539 as captain, followed by Player 865. The final round saw Player 830 serve as a captain and she picked Deano (Player 380) and Queen (Player 817.)

The at-risk contestants were told to pick one person each to join them on the tracks to make the decision tougher for the captain to choose from. While 817 picked 655, 380 chose 697. His decision did not sit well with several contestants who called him out on the same. However, fans online felt differently.

"Everyone turning on Deano from @MrBeast Beast games shows is wild. He saved hundreds of people in the games earlier and now they are bitching about him choosing someone for the train tracks. This is why he should have taken the 1M earlier, because now people are screwing him over," one person wrote on X.

"Calling deano sh*tty is wild. He's here to win just like everyone else. People in this show think they are better when they are not fucking losers all of them," a fan commented.

"He’s the only one who’s actually been tested, and competed in the games not just as a sideliner. People judging him for having to actually play the game and not just coast on by," a tweet read.

Fans of Beast Games felt the contestants called out the cast's "double standards":

"I hope Deano gets through man they all turned their back on him with their double standards he did a smart move picking her friend he had no choice and they are bashing him for it hope he wins it all," a person wrote.

"Like why are they mad at him for wanting to stay in the competition. These contestants have forgotten only one person can win that money," a fan commented.

"Well played Deano people are using whatever strategy to win but now they are mad at the one he used? I rate it ngl again, tough decisions are gonna be made. Tired of all the players and their whining," a tweet read.

Fans of Beast Games season 1 further said:

"JC and everyone else for that matter should be ashamed for belittling Deano for picking Jazmine (697) as his elimination partner. He can’t stand there and say he wouldn’t do the exact same thing to save yourself for $5 mil. These games are showing people’s true colors," a person wrote.

"How are y’all actually mad at Deano for using leverage to stay in the game after he turned down a million dollars for y’all and you still put him up for sacrifice," a fan commented.

"Whispering in the corners, creating alliances"— Player 830 calls out Player 380's gameplay in Beast Games season 1 episode 7

When Player 830 was chosen as the captain for the last rounds of eliminations in episode 7, the host asked her about her picks. She named Deano and Queen. About picking Deano, she said:

"Because in my opinion, you can't scream about community and loving each other when you're whispering in the corners, creating alliances."

After the Beast Games contestant shared her picks, Mr. Beast revealed the twist for the round. He said they needed one more person on both tracks but that the captain wouldn't be the one deciding who would join Deano and Queen. He said the at-risk players would choose who joined them on the tracks.

Player 380 picked Jazmine (Player 697) while Queen picked JC (Player 566.) Player 830 asked Deano why he picked Jazmine and Player 967 said he chose her because he thought 830 and 967 were close.

Player 817 also called Deano out and said he "played a little strategy" by choosing Jazmine. Player 566 also criticized the Beast Games contestant and said while he respected him a lot, he believed he chose Jaz "as bait."

Fans of Beast Games season 1 defended Deano online and said it was "wild" for others to criticize him.
