The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On's Caleb says he wants to ensure he and Mariah are in the "right place" when they reach their wedding day
Vanessa and Nick Lachey, the hosts of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, were pleased to see Mariah and Caleb still "happily engaged" a year after the finale was filmed. While reflecting on the past year, Caleb revealed they went on a road trip up the West Coast, with multiple stops including Tahoe, San Francisco, Washington, and more.
The pair also caught up with one another's family members after the cameras stopped rolling. The cast was then shown a montage of their road trip, in which Mariah was heard saying:
"I'm on cloud nine these days. I just feel happy. I feel grateful. This is a whole new era, a new chapter of life."
When Vanessa asked The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star if she had learned something new about Caleb in the past year, she answered that she had found out he liked to color coordinate outfits. She discovered that he would "peek around the corner" every now and then to see what she was wearing.
Caleb added to the conversation saying he did not want them to look like they were heading to different events.
When Nick asked Caleb about their "big day," The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member revealed that he had already contacted chefs, photographers, videographers, and even finalized an event planner. He added that he wanted to ensure they were prepared for marriage.
"Because leaving the show, it was a moment to kind of restart. Building from a healthy place is difficult and that takes a lot of time. And I wanna make sure we're in the right place when we finally do reach that day," he said.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 is available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
