"You look and sound pathetic"— Love After Lockup fans react to Shonta finding out about True cheating

Love After Lockup season 5 aired a brand new episode this week on Friday, September 27, 2024. In episode 40, titled, Exes and Oh No's, Shonta opened up about True cheating on her as she discussed the matter with a friend over the phone.

She explained that True's phone was connected to Bluetooth the day before when they went to the store. The male cast member had stepped outside the car while Shonta was still inside. The latter overheard True talking to someone and telling them he was going to pick them up.

Love After Lockup season 5 fans reacted to the segment online. While commenting on Shonta narrating tales of True's infidelity, one person wrote on X:

"Shonta, you're losing sympathy points with every segment...you look and sound pathetic. You should have been halfway home by now"

"Shonta chasing after her baby daddy, trying to catch him cheating. It’s just plain sad. He’s out here letting anybody and everybody take Mr. toad for a wild ride. He’s been cheating on you since he got out of prison, the first chick was the one from the gym," a fan commented.

"Shonta couldn't be my friend. Smh. She seems like she wants to be loved so bad. Stay off them prison sites for a man," a tweet read.

Love After Lockup fans criticized True for his infidelity:

"H*ll we all knew you were cheating true made it too obvious especially when he first got into town and went a different way than Shonta," a person wrote.

"True trying to wrap this interview up so he can go some last minute cheating before he goes on house arrest. Hes gotta hit up all his appointments," a fan commented.

"True has been a cheater since he got out of prison! Shonta is only doing what she does to catch him in the act!" a tweet read.

Love After Lockup season 5 fans further said:

"Oh wow True cheated again, how surprising!" a person wrote.

"So Shonta basically telling pepper that True can control himself and wants her to watch him. Girl pepper lying to your face. True just got from cheating," a fan commented.

Love After Lockup season 5: Shonta tells her friend Zaniah about True's infidelity

In Love After Lockup season 5 episode 40, titled, Exes and Oh No's, Shonta called her friend Zaniah and had a conversation about True cheating on her. She said that while they were on their way back to the hotel, they stopped at the store and True's phone was connected to the Bluetooth.

She said she could hear bits and pieces of the conversation while True was inside the store. The Love After Lockup season 5 male cast member told somebody he would pick them up.

"The first thing I asked him was, like, "Who was that?" Shonta said.

True said it was "nobody". Shonta said that she wasn't with anyone while he was out of town and asked him what he wanted. The Love After Lockup star replied that nothing made sense, while Zaniah said True was "lying." Shonta added that True told her he loved her and wanted to be with her.

The male season 5 cast member told her he wasn't going anywhere and was "having fun." Shonta mentioned that True told her he was "using protection."

"I don't think he knows what a relationship is supposed to be like," Zaniah said.

The WeTV reality star added that True told her he had been in jail for so long and wanted to enjoy himself. The male cast member "swore" he would be back to her.

Fans of the reality show chimed in on True's infidelity and while some criticized him for being unfaithful, others felt Shonta would take him back.
