"You all have your own minds"- The Circle star Madelyn tears up after Jadejha calls her a "puppet master"

The Circle season 7 has finally ended with its finale episode, i.e. episode 13, released on October 2. The finale episode gave the viewers the final 5 contestants of the show after Madelyn, the Secret Super Influencer blocked Jadejha.

The finale episode then culminated with the final 5 seeing each other for the first time in the finale room. They were also joined by the blocked contestants of the season. Darian asked Kevin why he blocked him when he was his number one ally. Kevin said Madelyn told him Darian was a backstabber.

Madelyn accepted she lied to Kevin about Darian and said she also lied to Andy/Heather about ranking them high. Jadejha, who was also blocked by her, brought up the portrait she had made of Madelyn in The Circle portrait game. Jadejha said

"I painted Madelyn's portrait. She was the 'puppet master'. I was right. I tried to warn y'all but y'all didn't listen."

Madelyn got emotional and teary-eyed as she explained that it was a game. She said:

"I did tell people things and people told me things. But, at the end of the day you all have your own minds."

How did The Circle star Madelyn defend herself when her co-stars called her out on lying?

Everything started when Scarlotta Twins said they tried everything to keep Darian and Jadejha in the game, on The Circle finale couch. That was because they thought the duo were worthy players who were loyal to their alliances. Darian said he was the Disruptor who chose Kevin, his best ally, as the second influencer because he wanted to be saved.

But Kevin turned on his Bro alliance and kicked Darian out. In his defense, Kevin said his most trusted person in the game was Madelyn and she told him Darian was a backstabber. He said knowing Darian was going to go after him broke his heart.

Madelyn said it was a lie and that she made it up. When Kevin questioned her in disbelief, Madelyn smiled and told him she had made it up. Darian said he was loyal and brought up the portrait painting competition, where each contestant had to paint a portrait of one other player. He said someone painted him as a backstabber, Kevin said he painted it because Madelyn told him that.

Explaining herself, Madelyn said when Andy/Heather came into her room and warned her about Gianna. Knowing that she couldn't have touched Gianna because of their strong position in the group, she had to go for one of the bros. She said Darian looked like the easiest target.

Heather jumped in to ask that when Madelyn told her she rated her fourth, was she being truthful? Madelyn said she lied. Heather was in disbelief and asked Madelyn if she put her last, Madelyn said yes. Everyone seemed shocked before Jadejha told them that she tried warning them by drawing a 'puppet master' portrait of her but no one believed her. Madelyn said:

"I was confused as well. Everybody made decisions. I would like to preface with saying that this is a game."

When she teared up Darian said she sounded like a villain. She continued to say that she felt bad and that she planned on being honest when she came into the game. But when The Circle Disruptor made her and Rachel swap places she had to protect herself.

She said if she wanted to stay in The Circle she had to protect herself and Rachel from getting eliminated. Debbie said that they did some things they wished they hadn't done, and hoped that explained to Heather why they made the decision. After hearing what went behind the scenes from Madelyn, Heather said it made sense now and called it a good game move.
