"You said IGNORE"— Love is Blind UK fans criticize Nicole for not picking Ben

Love is Blind UK aired its first four episodes on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. As the show progressed, several cast members struggled to make up their minds about who they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with.

One such cast member was Nicole, who early on expressed interest in two cast members, Sam and Benaiah. In episode 2, Nicole noted that she felt torn between the two as she had very "different" connections with both of them. She stated that while she felt "giddy" around Sam, she and Ben had a "very deep understanding of each other."

Eventually, Nicole chose Sam over Benaiah, which didn't sit well with fans online. Love is Blind fans voiced their opinions on X and felt Nicole ignored Sam's red flags. One person wrote on X:

Comparing Ben with Sam, Love is Blind UK fans said:

"Sam is such an awful person. The fact he chose to describe his proposal the same time Ben was crying.. what an idiot. #LoveIsBlindUK," a person wrote.

"Tbh none of the men were good for her imo , but Ben was definitely the lesser of two evils #LoveIsBlindUK," a fan commented.

"Sam and Ben… the difference in consolation and celebration from the other guys is so loud and I don’t even think he noticed #LoveIsBlindUK," a tweet read.

Love is Blind UK fans felt that Ben wasn't open enough about his feelings towards Nicole:

"That being said, I don’t think Ben was forward and open enough about his feelings for her and she deserves that! We’ll see how the rest of the experiment goes for her :/ #loveisblinduk," a person wrote.

"I'm so sorry"- Nicole tells Benaiah about her decision to choose Sam in Love is Blind UK

In Love is Blind UK episode 3, Nicole spoke to her other connection, Benaiah, after she accepted Sam's proposal, and informed him of her decision. Unaware that the couple was already engaged, Benaiah expressed his feelings to Nicole.

"I do care about you. You are part of, like, my heart," Benaiah said.

In a confessional, the social experiment participant stated that Nicole was the one for him because of what she brought to their equation. He added that she filled his heart with "positivity and optimism" about their possible future together.

The Love is Blind UK star was certain he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Benaiah told Nicole he intended to propose to her and wanted to make that commitment with her.

Nicole told him she was "blessed" to have met him and that Benaiah represented everything she wanted. She said that she had to be honest with herself and that Sam had her "heart."

"I'm so sorry. If I don't trust my gut, you know, then it's like, I'll just be denying myself. I just have to trust it right now. Oh, Benaiah, I'm so sorry for the part I've played in this," Nicole said.
