Season 5 of Love After Lockup released a new episode on Friday, November 29, 2024. In an episode segment, Rob's mother, Kate, and brother, Keyshawn, visited him at Tennie's home in Yukon. Their meeting turned chaotic when Kate discussed her and Tennie's fight, while Rob accused her of hitting Tennie first. Despite all efforts, Kate could not convince Rob that Tennie had initiated the scuffle.
While Kate tried to vindicate her name, saying that the fight was not supposed to happen, Rob criticized her for attacking Tennie first. Kate explained that she became aggressive only after Tennie touched her face. However, Rob remained unconvinced. While they discussed the matter, a flashback of the fight scene was played, in which Tennie was shown grabbing Kate's chin first.

"She wouldn't dare hit you" — Love After Lockup star Rob defends Tennie
Kate and Keyshawn visited Rob in Yukon to discuss their relationship dynamic. While they conversed, Tennie watched over them through the CCTV cameras. Kate stated that she had no idea how Rob was or what he had been up to ever since he distanced himself from her.
The Love After Lockup star explained that he lived "in a different setting" and did not want to return to his hometown. He and Tennie decided Yukon was the best place for him to work and raise the children. Although Kate understood his standpoint, she expressed that Rob could still be involved with his family.
"I'm hurting. Keyshawn hurting. We all hurting," she said.
However, the Love After Lockup star retaliated by saying he needed time to figure things out. At that point, Kate realized Rob was giving excuses and said she would not stop him if he were determined to sever ties with his family.
Kate then discussed her fight with Tennie and said she wanted to vindicate her name. She stated it was not "her character no more" to engage in fistfights. Kate was caught off guard when Rob mentioned that the scuffle started because she hit Tennie first.
"She [Tennie] didn't hit you. She wouldn't dare hit you," Rob said.
Kate explained that the fight started only after Tennie grabbed her mouth. However, Rob refused to believe her and continued defending Tennie. At that point, a flashback of the argument was played, in which Tennie was proven guilty.
Kate slammed the table, unable to tolerate Rob's disrespect, and stormed out of the house, saying, "I'm done."
Love After Lockup airs every Friday at 8 pm ET exclusively on WeTV.
