"Yuck" — Love is Blind: Habibi fans criticize Mido, Dounia, and Chafic for attacking Nour at the reunion

Love is Blind: Habibi released the reunion episode on Friday, November 1, 2024. Hosts Khaled Saqer and Elham Ali were joined by the cast members as they reunited to discuss relationship dynamics and reflect on the drama that unfolded on the show.

Although each single participated in the experiment to find love, most were left with their hearts broken. They hoped to address those unresolved feelings at the reunion. However, for one pair, the conversation turned into a heated argument. Nour clashed with her former partner, Mido, who had Chafic and Dounia's support. As they looked back on their time in the pods, Mido confessed he made a mistake by choosing Nour.

He criticized Nour's obsession with her appearance and material possessions. He demeaned her looks and looked down on her morals, personality, and character. Newly engaged couple Chafic and Dounia echoed Mido's thoughts, commenting on Nour's standards. Dounia called Nour out for flirting with Chafic at the resort, while Chafic questioned her intentions with Mido. He claimed she wanted him to be her "ATM."

Love is Blind: Habibi fans were shocked by the treatment meted out to Nour. They were critical of Mido and Chafic's comments on Nour's appearance and character. They were also unimpressed by how supportive Dounia was of the men's actions.

"Chafic and Dounia really deserve each other two bullies, yuck. And I see Mido is still an insecure, boring clown. They're all disgusting for the way they treated Nour at the reunion. And the way Chafic talked to Karma?? I can't believe i liked him," a fan wrote.

Many Love is Blind: Habibi fans were critical of Mido's treatment of Nour at the reunion. They claimed it was disrespectful and completely uncalled for.

"Mido you are still a loser and the reason you have so much heat for Nour is cause you know she’s out of your league," a user reacted.

"Why is Mido acting like Nour was so obsessed with Chafic when Chafic was the one who got very upset when she didn't come to greet him personally?? And the way they're acting now just shows how obsessed they both are with her," a person commented.

Love is Blind: Habibi fans were also unimpressed by Chafic and Dounia's criticism of Nour.

"She made use of Mido to get to the resort" — Love is Blind: Habibi star Mido comments on Nour's treatment of him

Mido confronted Nour's obsession with material possessions and her appearance at the reunion. He went so far as to say that she made herself look like a "product" by showing that side of her character. Although Nour explained she grew up well-off and never had to work a single day for money, Mido refused to accept a "housewife" who wanted her husband to entertain her financially.

Chafic asked Nour to value herself before making demands on her partner. Nour stated that she valued herself and projected her genuine self on camera, but Chafic disagreed, saying, "You're looking for an ATM not romance."

When Nour tried speaking with Dounia, Chafic intervened, stopping her. He said Dounia was "more classy" than the Love is Blind: Habibi star and did not need advice from her. Mido chimed in, echoing Chafic's statements. He said Dounia was more confident and genuine than Nour.

Dounia criticized Nour for flirting with her fiance at the vacation resort. She held the Love is Blind: Habibi star accountable for trying to come close to her partner, admitting she was concerned about their connection, unbothered if Nour was prettier than her. At that point, Mido interjected, saying, "Sorry to interrupt you but at least you have natural beauty." Dounia thanked him for the remark while Chafic laughed.

Mido commented on Nour's preoccupation with her looks, stating beauty could never be someone's judge of character. The Love is Blind: Habibi star added that a person should have education and intellect to look dignified, not beauty. Nour retaliated, revealing she had two degrees and could speak three languages.

Dounia compared herself to Nour, listing all the qualities she offered that Nour could not.

"Morals, upbringing, love, compassion, and the physique on top of all of that. A girl who respects herself, as she says, doesn't flirt with an engaged man," she said.

Mido questioned Nour's commitment to him on the show and criticized her for preferring Chafic over him. He said:

"She made use of Mido to get to the resort. It was very clear. I knew this from day one at breakfast."

Chafic looked down on Nour's character, saying that the Love is Blind: Habibi star preferred "to cry in a Ferrari than be happy in a normal car." He went so far as to speak negatively about her facial features by mocking them. While Mido laughed, Karma and Hajar spoke in Nour's defense.

Although the hosts diffused the argument, Nour confessed the male cast members crossed a limit they should not have.
