Love After Lockup season 5 aired a brand new episode this week on Friday, December 6, 2024. The segment saw Troy argue with his ex, Yona, who refused to let their daughter visit him. Yona was not in favor of her daughter visiting her father after he failed to pick her up from the train station when she and her grandmother came to meet him.
Troy was unable to do so because his partner, Zeriuah, had asked him to get out of the car after the two got into an argument. Fans reacted to the latest episode online and blamed Zeriuah for this situation where Yona refused to let her daughter travel to meet Troy. One person wrote on X:

In Love After Lockup season 5 episode 50, Love Is Sacrifice, Yona and Troy got into an argument. The season 5 cast member's ex was against their daughter visiting him and suggested that he travel to Buffalo, where Yona lived, if he wanted to spend time with her.
When the two met in person, Troy was upset that Yona didn't bring his daughter with her and told Zeruiah about the same. Zeruiah chimed in on Yona asking her to "control" Troy. The female Love After Lockup star said that Yona had "dismissed" her in front of her "man," while Troy noted that he was "ready to go."
"All I wanted was for them to talk because that's what matters. He has to be able to see his daughter, but it seems to me, based on the way Yona was acting, that's not what she wanted," Zeruiah told the cameras.
Troy commented on the situation and said he wanted to be with his child. The Love After Lockup season 5 cast member said it was "whack" that he could not.
