Love is Blind season 7 finale is around the corner. Throughout the season, viewers got insights into each participant's journey in finding a potential partner and their experience in the pods. Couples who got engaged and were ready to get married faced ups and downs in their relationship while realizing whether or not they were compatible in the real world.

One of the couples who instantly connected in the pods was Ashley and Tyler. When the initial episodes (1-6) aired, viewers gained insight into their relationship dynamics as they spent time together and had already met in person. In one of the episodes, Tyler mentioned that Ashley would've "hated him " if she met her in his past. Tyler went on to elaborate that he wasn't a nice person, and he came on the show to find love after his self-improvement journey.

This confession wasn't a "red flag" for Ashley, who thought it was a "good part" for someone to realize their mistakes, reflect on them, and work towards becoming a better individual. The Love is Blind contestant told People Magazine in an exclusive interview on October 6, 2024:

"That's self-aware to me. I think everyone comes with something and I think the good part is recognizing it and realizing the person you want to evolve to be. So no red flags."

Love is Blind contestant Tyler told Ashley he was considered "not that nice" of a person in his past

In Love is Blind season 7, Tyler tells Ashley that she met him at the right time, as people from his past did not have nice things to say about him,

During the same interview with People Magazine, Tyler admitted that he would cut people off and wanted to be honest about his past with Ashley. He also didn't want to waste her time if she found out that people from his past may say "he's an a*s hole." He explained:

"I just wanted to let her know that's the person I was but I came here to find love and prior to, I was trying to. But of course dating is hard in itself, so I just wasn't into wasting people's time. No, I'm just honest, honestly."

However, Love is Blind cast member Ashley considered Tyler’s warning as “honesty,” a positive attribute. She was glad that Tyler had evolved as a person and had evaluated her past behavior. Tyler further mentioned in the interview:

"It's a great point to meet me [now] cause you would've hated me. I was just like, 'Oh, you're cute, wanna go on a date?' Just prepare [for] people [to] be like, 'He is not that nice.' Like, nah, I just wasn't nice to y'all. I didn't give them a reason to be nice."

To watch Tyler and Ashley's journey on Love Is Blind season 7, fans can stream episodes 1 to 11 exclusively on Netflix. The upcoming season finale episode will air on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, followed by the reunion episode, which will be released on October 30, 2024, at 9 pm ET.
