"Over a cooking lesson, Kayleigh and Zari discuss how Naked's commitment fears have led Kayleigh to take her first steps in finding her own place."
Young, Famous & African star Kayleigh tells Zari why she is moving out
On Young, Famous & African season 3 episode 7, Kayleigh Schwark told her friend and fellow cast mate Zari that she was looking for a place to move out. Upon hearing this, Zari was surprised and asked what the reason behind making this decision was. Kayleigh shared that she wanted a place of her own for quite some time now and wanted to start a new chapter of her life even if it is without Naked.
The conversation shifted to Zari questioning why Naked wasn't ready for commitment and marriage. Zari told Kayleigh she was doing "wife duties" and implied she wasn't getting the treatment she deserved. As viewers already know, the Young, Famous & African star communicated to Naked about starting a family as a married couple however, Naked was hesitant to do so due to his past divorces.
Kayleigh stated the decision to move out was not to convince Naked but rather it was a step to focus on herself more. She continued:
"This year I actually want to take of myself and invest in myself. And invest in property. If it means I can't do it with him, I'm going to do it on my own, and I'm fine with that."
The Young, Famous & African cast member further explained that she had no intention to force Naked or to change his decision. She also said making Naked commit was not her "problem," Kayleigh said:
"I don't know if moving out will actually change Quinton's mind or make him commit, but that's not my problem. That's not what I'm after or what I'm trying to get out of him. I'm doing it for myself."
Episode 8 focuses on the couple's relationship as Kayleigh and Nate attempt to reach a resolution and try to find a common ground for their plans. All eight episodes of Young, Famous & African are available to stream exclusively on Netflix. Viewers can follow Kayleigh and Naked on their official Instagram accounts.
