In episode 4 of season 7 of The Circle, a new twist called disruptor mode was introduced. In this, Rachel and Madelyn had to swap their profiles and pretend to be each other. This meant that Madelyn had to act and chat like Rachel and vice versa.
Both contestants, Rachel and Madelyn, had a private chat and decided they would need to work in each other's favor to stay in The Circle season 7. They discussed maintaining a good relationship with their respective alliance members to avoid arousing any suspicions.
Madelyn had allied with her "circle husband" Andy and informed Rachel that she needed to talk to him. Deb (who entered the game as Rachel) agreed. However, when she was in the process of flirting with Andy in episode 5, she said that she was feeling uncomfortable with the situation.
"Forget Rachel. Forget Madelyn. Deb is unbelievably not feeling comfortable with this," Deb said while chatting with Andy.
The Circle season 7 star Rachel chats with Andy as Madelyn
The Circle season 7 episode 5 featured a game called "Make out, Marry, Murder." In the game, the contestants had to choose three fellow contestants whom they would have liked to make out with, marry, and murder.
Andy and Madelyn had a flirtatious relationship throughout the program. The other contestants were surprised when Andy decided to "marry" Kevin instead of Madelyn. Now using Madelyn's profile, Rachel had to ask Andy for an explanation as to why he didn't choose Madelyn. She invited him to a private chat to discuss it further.
After entering the chat, Rachel told herself that now that she is playing as Madelyn, she has to call out Andy and act jealous for not picking her. However, she also needed to protect their alliance and be on his good side.
"Madelyn has to call out Andy and be jealous, but not enough that Andy doesn't think she has his back," Rachel said.
Andy was expecting an invitation from Madelyn and had an explanation prepared. Using Madelyn's profile, Rachel initiated a conversation and asked Andy if she was no longer his "Circle Wife."
Andy responded that they were already married in the game, and he chose Madelyn for his "make out" position to seal their relationship with a kiss. Additionally, he decided on Kevin for his "marry" position because he wanted to show support for his alliance members.
"Maddy, babe, we came into that game already married and I just wanted to seal it with a kiss. #Mandy is still thriving. I just needed to show my boy some love for what he did," Andy texted Madelyn.
Rachel was satisfied after reading Andy's explanation. However, she had another question for him. She asked him if he was an "OnlyFans of Gianna," referring to Gianna picking him for her "make out" position.
"Okay, that explains Kevin, but are you an #OnlyFan of Gianna? Was she sealing something with you?" Rachel asked via Madelyn's profile.
Andy said he was shocked that Gianna chose to kiss him. However, he was loyal to Madelyn. To this, Madelyn's profile replied:
"I know you're my #OnlyFan and I hope you liked my choice of Gianna. #FutureThreesome"
He was surprised by her reply and texted that he would let her "take the reins on that." Andy added that he wanted her all to himself and would first take her on a dinner date. They ended their conversation by saying they were rooting for each other to win.
