Love Never Lies: South Africa finale premiered on December 6 on Netflix. The episode reunited the six couples for the last time to answer their final EyeDetect questions.
Gontse was asked the first question, whether he had committed any infidelities that Munaka did not know about. The contestant answered "yes," and the EyeDetector confirmed this as the truth.
Munaka was hurt by this revelation. When her partner suggested having a conversation, she denied it, stating that there was "nothing to talk about." She added that she didn't want to be with a "cheater" and there was no need to be with Gontse anymore.
"I've made it very clear that, like, I'm just not gonna be with a cheater. There's no need for me to be with him anymore. So, it sucks, but I tried my best," Munaka said.

Throughout the season, the couples on Love Never Lies: South Africa have faced doubt, jealousy, and heartbreak. In the finale episode, they reunited one last time to confront their truths and answer the final EyeDetect questions.
Munaka and Gontse were the first couple to face the questions. Before reuniting with Munaka, Gontse admitted feeling nervous but shared heartfelt sentiments, describing her as his "other half" and stating that he was "hopeful for the best."
Upon meeting her Love Never Lies: South Africa partner, Munaka hugged him and shared how much she missed him. However, she was still nervous about the upcoming questions.
Gontse was the first to face the questions, where he admitted to being unfaithful during his relationship with Munaka. His confession left Munaka furious, and she indicated that she was ready to leave him.
In his defense, Gontse brought up a past conversation between them, recalling how they had been on the verge of breaking up and had agreed to go do whatever they wanted.
"Remember when… when you f… when we fought and you said, 'Gontse, I'm done… Gontse, let's just leave it.' You know, 'I'm gonna do what I want, you can do whatever you want, and then that's that,'" Gontse shared.
Munaka acknowledged the conversation but pointed out that every time they got back together, they confessed if anything happened. The Love Never Lies: South Africa contestant said that she was surprised that her partner failed to mention his infidelities.
Munaka was then asked if she believed Gontse was the right man for her, to which she replied, “Yes.” The EyeDetect confirmed she was telling the truth. However, in her confessional, Munaka expressed regret over her response, especially after learning about Gontse's infidelities.
While Gontse expressed his willingness to work on their relationship, Munaka was too hurt to listen and left the set in tears.

Earlier in the show, when Munaka was asked if she loved Gontse, she declined, and EyeDetector labeled her response as the truth.
