Love is Blind: UK dropped its reunion episode on Monday, August 26, 2024. The contestants who reached the finale episodes joined hosts Matt and Emma Willis during the episode. It was revealed that of the six couples, only two were happily married. They were Benaiah and Nicole, and Bobby and Jasmine.

Steven and Sabrina, the first couple to get married, disclosed that they parted ways due to their incompatibility in the real world. Meanwhile, Demi and Ollie, Freddie and Catherine, and Tom and Maria, couples who decided against marrying on their wedding day, noted they did not reconnect after the show wrapped up.

Demi left Ollie at the altar because she felt they were not ready for marriage then. However, she hinted at the possibility of a future together. At the reunion, she stated she changed her mind, realizing she deserved better.

"Walking away from it was like, 'Ollie's a good guy, but he's not my guy.' So, yeah, that's where we're at," Demi said.

The Love is Blind: UK star explained things changed after the show ended. She pointed out their incompatibility and mentioned she could not connect with Ollie anymore. She realized she needed to focus on herself and her well-being. As a result, Demi decided not to reunite with her ex-fiance.

Love is Blind: UK star Demi claimed she felt like "Demi 2.0"

Host Emma Willis noticed Demi and Ollie sitting separately, which made her curious about the status of their relationship. When she inquired Demi about it, the Love is Blind: UK cast member stated she was "holding onto" her feelings for Ollie on their wedding day, which was why she said they might reconnect sometime in the future.

However, as she walked away from the altar, she realized Ollie was not her ideal match, regardless of their chemistry. She explained she "wanted to get back to the things" that brought her joy.

Demi disclosed that she moved back in with her parents, people she valued and who meant "the most" to her. She felt it was a step needed for her to rediscover her identity. The Love is Blind: UK star felt detached from herself and knew she needed to relocate herself and grow into a better person.

"I feel like some of the things that I've seen in Corfu, I don't recognize that person. I was a shell of myself and no one can give me validation other than myself," Demi explained.

Demi confessed she "had to go away" and rework herself. During her stay in the pods, she was introverted and lacked self-confidence. She often second-guessed herself and hesitated to express her feelings. However, at the reunion, she revealed she was doing much better.

"I mean, I turn up today, I've got my good old heels and my good dress, and I honestly feel like Demi 2.0 and that's a credit to everyone who loves me," she said.

When Ollie was asked to share his side of the story, he stated that on their Love is Blind: UK wedding day, he had conversations with Demi that made him realize that the timing was not right, regardless of the "respect and adoration" they had for each other. He added that it was "the right thing" for them to part ways.

Although "it was a hard watch," Demi stated she was at peace with her decision. Ollie then mentioned that he formed a relationship with co-star Sharlotte, after his fallout with Demi.

"Yeah, me and Sharlotte have a connection outside of the experiment and yeah...Yeah," Ollie said.

The Love is Blind: UK star added it was difficult to deny "the attraction they had for one another." While Demi was content living with her parents, Ollie stated he felt satisfied with his connection with Sharlotte.

Love is Blind: UK is available to stream only on Netflix.
