What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 episode 13 that led to the feud?
As mentioned earlier, in episode 13, Chef woes and cabin blows the crew couldn't move from their spot because of Medicane Daniel. Aesha initially planned a trip to a Greek winery, but due to the streets being flooded because of the storm, they stayed in. The added pressure of staying in meant that the crew of Below Deck Mediterranean had to deliver on the food and entertainment department.
In the first course, Jono served tuna carpaccio which is raw fish that left one of the guests flabbergasted by the idea of eating it because of her allergies. She politely asked Aesha to replace the dish after explaining her condition.
"It looks beautiful. I would eat it if I could, but I can’t eat raw fish because it could kill me,” quipped the guest.
Sandy quickly took over the situation in the galley and confronted Jono about the same. The captain explained she had never dealt with such a situation in her 35-year career and couldn't believe what had happened. Later, Sandy even asked for an extra crew and a chef to replace Jono but the lack of available staff meant she hashed it out with Jono.
The chef on Below Deck Mediterranean faced more trouble with the dessert tasting. The guests, expecting a "chocolate souffle" or "crème brûlée," were disappointed when Aesha brought out a cookie/chocolate cake sandwich instead. Aesha expressed frustration with Jono’s lack of creativity, especially with his job at stake.
The chief guest, celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary, was also unhappy as the dessert didn't match her preferences. The dish was eventually returned by the dissatisfied guest.
