“Not the kind of guy I see myself with” - Southern Charm star Salley opens up about her connection with Shep Rose

Southern Charm Season 10 is back with cast members Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Craig Conover, Taylor Ann Green, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes, Shep Rose, Jarrett “JT” Thomas, Salley Carson, and Molly O’Connell. So far a total of three episodes have been released since its premiere on December 5, 2024.

In the newly released December 19, 2024 episode, Southern Charm cast member Salley opened up about her intimate relationship with Shep Rose. She told Molly that after her hookup with Shep, she realized he wasn't the guy she could see herself ending up with. Salley said:

“It was like two o'clock in the morning, and then he wouldn’t leave. I was like, Shep, I’m getting you an Uber. Shep, like, I’m sorry ... you’re just not the kind of guy I see myself with.”

Southern Charm Season 10 Episode 3 titled Gone to the Dogs was released exclusively on Bravo TV on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"JT pens an apology to Miss Patricia; the group celebrates at a Doggy Parton-themed celebration; Shep debuts his new girlfriend; Taylor faces off with a flame from her boyfriend's past; Austen starts to question his friendship with Craig."

Southern Charm star Salley talks about her past linked to Shep Rose and Gaston

During her conversation with the Southern Charm cast member Molly, Salley shared that she has been physically intimate with Shep Rose. According to Salley, she realized that Shep wasn't the right guy for her. In her confession interview, Salley said she had no regrets about her decision but she "was not bragging about it." She continued:

"I'm not saying I regret it or anything. But I definitely was not bragging about it."

She also highlighted the reason behind her breakup with Gaston, who is currently dating Taylor. This was after Molly mentioned Taylor and Gaston might attend an upcoming event together as a couple. The Southern Charm cast member shared she didn't have "anything good to say about him but that's not necessarily "Taylor's story" as well. She said:

“I obviously don’t have anything good to say about him. But that’s my story. That might not be Taylor’s story.”

During her confession interview, Salley revealed she dated Gaston for three months and felt she had found her person. However, things took a different turn after Salley found out about Gaston's cheating scandal.

Reflecting on their past, Salley stated she was open to establishing a mutual bond with Taylor but she didn't want to stay in contact with Gaston. Salley said:

“Me and Gaston, we dated for three months. Like, he was my person, and I thought I was his. But, like, he was cheating the whole time."

The upcoming episodes will reveal whether Taylor and Salley will become friends or not. Salley's connection with Gaston and Shep will also be a major focus. Episode 4 of the Bravo reality TV series is set to air on January 2, 2025.
