One of the couples, Niles and Matilda, who met each other as pen pals, got married this season after resolving their issues through communication. With Niles getting a new job and getting married to Matilda on the first trip he made to meet her, it was time for him to return to the US. He reassured Matilda that their long distance was a temporary arrangement.

"Don't think that it's going to be permanent. Okay? Today is not goodbye, it's just see you soon. As soon as I possibly can," Niles said.

The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 19, titled Never Let Me Go, was released exclusively on TLC on Sunday, January 5, 2025. The episode synopsis mentions Matilda and Niles exchanging their goodbyes as Niles returns back to the US; it continues:

What happened between Niles and Matilda on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 19?

On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 19, Niles reflected on his relationship with Matilda. He shared that he had no plans of getting married on his first trip to Matilda's hometown, which is why he didn't do much research about the visa process. Now that Niles had a new job and was going back to the United States, he was unsure how long the visa process would take.

During the confessional interview, he stated that the process could either take a few months or more years. He shared his plans after going to the US and saving up "to take care of" Matilda.

"You know I really wasn't planning on getting married on this trip. So I didn't do much research on the visa process probably honestly should have done. I'm not sure how long it will take Matilda to get to the United States. All I can do right now is focus on my new job and save money to take care of her."

Matilda, on the other hand, questioned how long their long-distance relationship would continue and when they could reunite once again. Niles reassured her that this dynamic was "temporary" and they were to meet soon. The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member mentioned he never thought he would get married before he met Matilda.

"My life is richer for having her in it and I cannot wait for Matilda to come to America and we truly start our lives together," he added.

The next season will reveal how the relationship between Niles and Matilda changes now that distance is a factor once again in the newlyweds' lives.
