Sister Wives season 19 episode 19, titled Behold I Come Like a Thief, premiered on TLC on January 26, 2025. In the episode, Janelle and Meri decided to team up against Kody to get answers regarding their share of the Coyote Pass property.

After discussing the situation and the fact that Kody had hired a realtor to sell the place, the two cast mates agreed that they would need to hire a lawyer each to get a fair value for their share in the property.

Kody later responded to their conversation in his confessional, stating that he was handling the issue on his own and didn’t want to rush through it. He expressed frustration, implying that his ex-wives were putting pressure on him for answers, and emphasized that he wasn’t their “servant to boss around.”

“I’m not your servant to boss around,” Kody said of his exes.

Sister Wives star Janelle and Meri discuss the Coyote Pass property

Kody Brown decided to buy Coyote Pass property hoping that all of his wives and kids would live together at the same place in harmony. However, his dreams were crushed when Christine broke up with him in November 2021 and gave up her share of the property to her ex-husband, as she wanted to leave her previous life behind.

A year later, Janelle broke up with Kody in December 2022, followed by Meri in January 2023. Unlike Christine, they still have a share in the Coyote Pass property and are trying to sell it off.

In Sister Wives season 19 episode 19 Janelle and Meri hopped on a video call to discuss the situation around the Coyote Pass property. They expressed that they needed answers from Kody, who had been avoiding the topic for quite some time.

The two Sister Wives stars were on the same page as they agreed that they would need to hire a lawyer each to tackle the problem and get them money from their share of the Coyote Pass property.

“I trusted it would all work out in the end. And looking back now, I’m like, ‘Wow, it’s really dumb. Why did I not insist that we were all titled on all the pieces? “I just was too trusting, I guess,” Janelle shared in her confessional.

Further during the conversation Janelle and Meri shared that they both paid for the land out of the family account, and they paid for it "equally."

Meanwhile, Kody revealed in his confessional that the payments for the property were not equally shared among them. Instead, he claimed that he paid "92 percent" of the cost on his own, with the remaining amount covered through collaboration with others.

Meri later chimed in her confessional that the family was on the fence with each other, divided because of their shares in the Coyote Pass property. She believed that Janelle, Kody, Robyn, and she each had separate plans for their portions of the land.

“I feel like Kody and Robyn probably have some plan of what they want to do and how they want to handle it. I think that Janelle has some sort of plan, and I know that I do as well. And none of us are talking to each other because none of us trust each other,” the Sister Wives star said in her confessional.

Later in the episode, Janelle— in her confessional— said that she wanted to get over the issue as early as possible, noting that it was the only thing that was tying him and her ex-husband together. She further expressed that she just wanted to close the chapter and move on.
