Season 6 Love Island USA star JaNa Craig appeared for an interview with Blavity, published on July 24, where she spoke about the happenings of the villa and how she felt about them. Love Island USA season 6 stars have been appearing for interviews now that they are out of the villa following the Sunday, July 21 finale.

JaNa and Kenny, one of the top four couples of the coveted season, also appeared for an interview and answered questions about popular topics such as Andrea's elimination and the PPG JaNa, Serena, and Leah, among others.

Discussing how she felt when Andrea was eliminated JaNa said,

"I think that was one of the most uncomfortable nights, and the days after that was just the worst, because the boys were like brothers to me at that point".

JaNa referred to the fact that many men in the show thought she should be the one to be exiting the show, so continuing in the show after that point was awkward for her.

What did JaNa Craig say about Andrea Carmona's elimination on Love Island USA season 6?

The Blavity interview was released not too long after JaNa and Kenny left the Love Island USA villa in Fiji and returned home. The interviewer's first question was about Andrea's elimination, and it was directed at both of them. JaNa was asked how she felt, while Kenny was asked if he was grateful they didn't eliminate JaNa instead.

JaNa said she was uncomfortable when that elimination went down and explained the reason saying:

"The fact that they didn’t really have the b**ls to say it was me, we knew they were talking about me, and then Rob told me, 'Jana I’m really sorry, but I feel like if anyone should have gone home, it was you.' It s**ked".

With most men thinking that the girls evicted Andrea because they didn't want to send their best friend home despite her single status, JaNa's days in the villa got tough in the coming days. However, she said things eventually calmed down and amicability was restored.

She also said that the boys didn't understand where the girls were coming from. She explained herself saying the girls understood that with two new male bombshells entering the villa the next day, they wanted to keep options available for them. With Andrea closed off, they'd have gotten one less contestant to mingle with.

She added that the boys had started to call Love Island USA "Friend Island" after that, which didn't make sense to her because Rob and Aaron remained best friends for the rest of the show. JaNa then talked about the efforts she put into getting her friendship back to normal with the boys. She said:

"I never felt so uncomfortable in that villa until that moment. Uncomfortable is a word I can say. I’m walking down the hall with awkward silence with the guys. I’m making smoothies for them, trying to be their friends again, knowing that it didn’t work".

However, she also acknowledged the fact that if the girls hadn't decided to keep her in the villa, she wouldn't have met Kenny. She said they also encouraged her and told her she was doing her best. She was grateful to them for it.

Season 6 of Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
