“Outcome rewards the sacrifice”- Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec talks about the importance of fitness

Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec is one of the sharks on the ABC reality TV series and has also appeared on the Australian version of the show as well as Dragon's Den. Robert is a motivational speaker, business expert, and owner of Herjavec Group, now called Cyderes.

In an Instagram reel posted to Robert Herjavec's official Instagram account on January 5, 2025, the Shark Tank investor talked about his fitness routine. The clip showed Robert working out at the gym with his trainer. On his way back, his trainer asked him how he felt, upon which Herjavec stated:

"Tired but good. You know that hard tired? where the outcome rewards the sacrifice. I feel great."

The video caption mentions Robert's goal of becoming the fittest he can be, it states:

"I want to become the fittest I can be so I went and hired one of the best transformational coaches in the world."

Robert is known for sharing financial advice alongside life lessons. As a motivational speaker, he encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.


Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec opens up about his goal to stay fit

Reflecting on achieving success and attaining wealth, Herjavec shared that having financial freedom allows you to hire "the absolute best" professionals to maintain your health and follow a good lifestyle. According to the Shark Tank investor, taking care of his health, staying active, and being in the best shape are a few of his goals.

Herjavec shared that his "transformation coach" and "personal fitness guy," with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, helped him achieve this goal. Herjeavec emphasized the perks of having access to professionals who can help "you on any journey you want to go," which comes from success and wealth. He continued:

"One of the greater things about having money is you can hire the best people in the world to help you on any journey you want to go. I want to become the fittest I can be and I went out and hired the absolute best transformation coach, and personal fitness guy in the entire world. Let's go meet him, his name is Chief."

In a previous interview with Men's Health in April 2018, Robert shared his fitness routine and the main reason behind being consistent with his workout. He stated that exercising and going to the gym kept him motivated and enhanced the quality of his health. He also mentioned that he made changes to his diet to divide the nutrient intake into portions. The Shark Tank investor said:

“I used to think that cardio was the only way to lose weight, but I learned over time the benefits of resistance training and lifting. In terms of weights, I try to do natural resistance, so a lot of pull ups. Now I tend to do six to eight exercises of three sets of eight to 10 reps of medium weight intermixed with my cardio sessions."

He continued:

"I work the major muscle groups by doing things like squats, pushups, deadlifts."
