Outlast Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on September 4, 2024. Meanwhile, the upcoming season's cast features varied survival skills such as fishing, shelter building, bow hunting, fire making, weapon making, animal tracking, butchering, and ice climbing, which will come in handy on the show.
These contestants will use all the skills they have and their teammates' help to survive as long as they can, in the Outlast challenge to win $1 million. The synopsis of the show reads:
"A raw survival competition series where 16 lone wolves must outlast each other in the Alaskan wilderness in an attempt to win 1 million dollars. There is only one rule in this cut throat game: they must be a part of a team to win."

Brendon Ash is a professional trapper and has caught animals like wolves, bears, and coyotes. Brendon started early when he was 19 and was able to hunt elk and squirrels at that age.
3) Bri Walston (Air Force veteran)
Bri Walston is an Air Force veteran and in the wilderness, she is a bow hunter and fisherman. She spent three years under harsh military and it has made her used to Alaska's cold weather.
4) Deontre (Tre) Thomas (Glazier/arborist)
Deontre is a glazier/arborist and an expert at building snares and traps. He knows how to bag large animals from the big game hunters and wants to be the first person to catch and kill a bear on the Outlast show.
5) Drake Vliem (Oil field technician)
Drake Vliem is an oil field technician who wants to pass down his survival traditions to his four kids. He can climb trees and build hunting blinds above the ground.
6) Drew Haas (Commercial helicopter pilot)
Drew Haas commercial helicopter pilot and is an expert when it comes to fishing and hunting. He is excited to test his mental toughness and survival skills in Alaska.
7) Emily Johnston (Data analyst)
Emily Johnston is a data analyst. She has done various backcountry courses about navigation and cold-weather survival which will help her in the second season of Outlast.
8) Eric Shevchenko (Chef/farm-to-table restaurateur)
Eric Shevchenko is a chef/farm-to-table restaurateur. He has cooked raccoons, porcupines, and snapping turtles. He is a team person and has huntsmanship and cryptic botanical expertise.
9) Joey DiDesidero (Hazardous waste construction management)
Joey DiDesidero works in radioactive and hazardous waste construction management. He has always been an adventurous and outdoor person and currently is living on a Hobby Farm with his family.
10) Joseph Malbrough (Mechanic/outdoorsman)
Joseph Malbrough is a mechanic and outdoorsman. He is very comfortable with a bow and hunts for food with ease. He has strong fishing skills and can construct durable shelters.
11) Julio Laboy (Defense lawyer)
Julio Laboy is a defense lawyer and a top-tier survivalist. He can build sturdy shelters and keep them warm with fire-building techniques. He can withstand harsh temperatures and can craft weapons.
12) Meghan Buchanan (Rocket scientist)
Meghan Buchanan is a rocket scientist and an adventure athlete. She has all the things needed to survive the Outlast challenge. She has experience with cold conditions and numerous outdoor activities like trail running, rock/ice climbing, and backpacking.
13) Sammy Norris (Video creator)
Sammy Norris is a video creator and a bushcrafter. He can use traditional hunting tools and build primitive cabins. He can even create musical instruments from natural materials.
14) Tina Grimm (Artist/model)
Tina Grimm artist/model and a thru-hiker. She can track wildlife from a distance and make fire of her own.
15) Tonia Willman (Fabricator)
Tonia Willman is a fabricator and a former mental health therapist. She is an animal whisperer and can bring food to the table with her bow-hunting abilities.
16) Zach Owens (Social media manager)
Zach Owens is a social media manager and is in the top 1% of bow hunters. His strength and shelter-building skills will come in handy in The Outlast Season 2.
