Outlast, Netflix's ultimate survival competition show returned to the streaming platform with a brand new season on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Season 2 started with a total of 16 contestants who braved harsh Alaskan weather to become the last-standing survivalist.
By the end of the six episodes that dropped the same day, seven players had either been eliminated or had to be disqualified due to medical reasons. As part of the show's rules, the players could ask for medical evaluation at any point in Outlast season 2. However, if the medical personnel felt they were unfit to continue, they had to leave the show immediately.
Those who left the game so far included Bayo, Bri, Emily, Tre, Julio, Meghan, Tonia, and Zach.

Outlast season 2 elimination order
Bayardo (Bayo)
Bayardo became the first person to be eliminated from the Netflix survivalist show. Team Alpha, consisting of Bayo, Zach, Tre, and Tonia had clashed after Bayo undermined their plan of allying with Team Bravo by stealing their pots.
While Tre tried to reconcile with Team Bravo, their one condition was for the team to vote Bayo out of their team, giving him one of two options — to find another team or to self-eliminate. The team came to a consensus and voted Bayo out, however, instead of trying to become a part of another team, he fired his flare, indicating the end of his journey in Outlast season 2 in episode 2.
Zach
With Bayo's elimination, Team Alpha was down to three cast members but that didn't deter them from their mission. Zach took charge and presented himself as the leader and attempted to improve their camp to withstand the severe Alaskan weather. Although he was confident in his abilities, an unexpected injury caused him to leave the competition in episode 3.
Julio and Meghan
After a cold night in the Alaskan wilderness, Team Charlie lost two players back to back. While Meghan sought medical evaluation when a previous injury started hurting, Julio experienced intense spasms that got increasingly intense.
While Meghan was speaking to the medical personnel, the medic had to rush to Julio's side as his spasms got worse while in the middle of an interview. Although both cast members were cleared to continue participating, they decided to quit Outlast season 2 in episode 3.
Since Bri had already parted ways with Camp Charlie, two more contestants leaving camp meant Team Charlie was officially out of the running. The remaining contestant, Joey had to align himself to another team in 24 hours, the failure of which, would have resulted in his elimination.
Tonia and Tre
Tonia's health took a turn in episode 4 and in the middle of the night, she asked Tre to inform the medic. However, by the time the crew reached Camp Alpha, the Outlast season 2 cast member had lost consciousness but was "responsive to pain stimulus."
The Netflix crew had to rush her to the hospital where she was treated for hypothermia, hypoglycemia, and dehydration. This marked the end of her journey on the reality show.
Since Tre was the last member of Team Alpha, he had 24 hours to join another team, however, he chose to self-eliminate.
Emily
Emily from Team Bravo was eliminated from Outlast season 2 in episode 6. In the previous episode, Emily made a raft from the supplies crate sent to the contestants and set sail to a nearby island. Although she made it there in time, on her way back, the strong current and the setting sun got the best of her.
Although the cast member tried her best to make her way back, she decided to quit the show as she was unable to make the trip back.
Bri
The cast member was originally a part of Team Charlie but changed camps mid-season and joined Camp Bravo. In episode 6, the contestant started getting sick and suffered from consistent nausea and vomiting.
When her condition didn't improve, she sought medical evaluation and although she was cleared to continue participating in the Netflix show, she chose to self-eliminate so she could take care of herself.
