Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Storms Beador has been the main focus of season 18 as she battles personal struggles. In the newly released episode 7, Shannon got emotional thanking her friends and fellow cast members Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson for their unconditional support.
With her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend Alexis Bellino's situation and the involvement of an attorney on the legal matter, Shannon seemed worried during her short trip to La Quinta. Her friends were there for her in this tough situation, for which Shannon was grateful and appreciative. Beador continued stating:
"You don't understand how overwhelmed with love I am. You guys are so kind, and that's why I feel I don't deserve any of it. I'm so grateful."

On RHOC season 18 episode 7, Shannon's friends were surprised at how much her mental health was being affected due to the John Janssen situation. One of the Real Housewives of Orange County stars Emily shared she had never seen her friend in a condition "like this." During her confessional interview, Emily continued stating that it was important for the entire friend group to come together and help Shannon in this difficult time. She said:
"I felt badly for Shannon. just felt that it was important to rally around her and try to support her and make her feel that there are people in her corner."
Despite the friend group drama, Heather shared all cast members had a combined love for Shannon. She stated that it wasn't easy for them to see her "broken like this."
Heather also mentioned that they were trying their best to encourage her and give her hope that everything would be okay soon. She told the cameras on RHOC season 18 episode 7:
"We all love Shannon. No one wants to see a friend broken like this. And honestly, I've never seen her like this before — ever."
Later, when it was time for Shannon's confessional interview, she explained how she felt after being lent support. According to Shannon, this was "unexpected" but she was appreciative and grateful to have such people in her life who stick by her side in difficult situations. She further praised her fellow cast members for the way they consoled her:
"To be rallied around by those three women, of all people on the cast, it was overwhelming for me. I said, 'I'm not gonna cry this season' and darn it, I did. Quite a few times."
