Love is Blind: Germany episode 7, released on Friday, January 10, 2025, focused on the couples’ journey as they approached their wedding day. The show, which is an iteration of the American social experiment, challenges participants to form emotional connections without meeting in person.

The latest episode showcased various emotional turning points and one of the key moments came when Alina, reflected on her strained relationship with fiancé Ilias. She added that the trust between them had "been broken a little" as she was "very hurt by his [Ilias'] actions."

“I could really see myself packing my suitcases and slamming the ring on the table because I was very hurt by his actions,” Alina said.

This comment stemmed from Ilias’ unresolved feelings for Hanni, his other connection on Love is Blind: Germany. The episode also captured the cast preparing for their upcoming weddings, meeting their families and friends, apart from reflecting on their experience on the show.

Love is Blind: Germany: Alina and Ilias' reconciliation

Love is Blind: Germany season 1 episode 7 saw Alina and Ilias have a conversation to address their relationship issues. During their discussion, Ilias expressed remorse over his actions and the emotional turmoil they caused.

“I've been thinking that I was completely off track and put everything I was being given, everything I ever wanted, at risk out of some kind of curiosity,” he admitted during a confessional.

He also said he didn't know why he did what he did before sincerely apologizing to Alina, saying that he didn't put himself in her shoes, calling it a mistake. He tried to lighten the mood by jokingly suggesting Alina should “do something wrong for a change” to create balance, which led to both of them laughing.

Alina accepted his apology but firmly stated that it was important to her that he never did that again.

“I think the only thing that's still important to me is that you never do that again,” Alina said.

Ilias reassured her with a promise, and the two seemed to mend their bond, ending the conversation on a hopeful note. Alina later reflected on the situation in her confessional and said that while they had "hit a low," the challenges they faced would help them grow and show them how they handled things together.

“I just didn't want to throw everything out over the Hanni situation. I wanted to give the whole relationship another chance," the cast member said.

Episode 7 recap: Wedding preparations and emotional turning points

In Love is Blind: Germany episode 7, the countdown to the weddings began, with just 12 days left. The cast members focused on wedding preparations while dealing with lingering emotional challenges.

The women went bridal dress shopping, guided by host Stephanie “Steffi” Brungs, while the men selected their suits under the guidance of host Christian Wackert.

Alina, joined by her best friend Janik during her shopping trip, reflected on her relationship with Ilias. Janik encouraged her to focus on the experiment’s purpose, saying, "Examine a person's character, their inner values."

Meanwhile, Ilias shared his excitement about Alina meeting his family, describing the experience as “amazing.” His brother, Dimos, supported the relationship, noting that the couple “complement each other” well.

The situation between Alina and Ilias took center stage in Love is Blind: Germany after Ilias had a private conversation with Hanni during a party. Hanni, committed to her fiancé Daniel, told Ilias that they couldn’t remain friends and urged him to focus on his relationship with Alina.

Observing the interaction, Alina confided in Jen that she "definitely won't say yes at the altar" if she felt like there was something between Hanni and Ilias.

“I definitely won’t say yes at the altar if I feel like the door is still open,” Alina admitted.

In a subsequent discussion, Alina confronted Ilias in Love is Blind: Germany about his unresolved feelings. Despite his reassurances, Alina admitted she had doubts about their engagement, warning that his actions could cost him both her and Hanni.

For other Love is Blind: Germany couples, the wedding preparations brought a mix of emotions.

Hanni initially expressed hesitation while trying on wedding dresses. However, after finding the perfect gown, she declared that she didn't want to take it off, expressing her excitement to get married. Daniel, Hanni’s fiancé, felt equally optimistic, sharing his excitement as he selected his suit with the help of his best man, Lucas.

Jen, on the other hand, struggled with uncertainty about her relationship, even after choosing a wedding dress. Her mother encouraged her to use the moment for clarity, stating that it could help her see how she felt about the relationship and getting married. Her mother told Jen that she needed to "sort it out," regardless of whether it was good, bad, or wrong.
