Perfect Match season 2 premiered on June 7, 2024, and since then viewers have been hooked to the show. This season featured contestants from shows such as The Mole, Squidgame: The Challenge, Too Hot to Handle, and Surviving Paradise. The Netflix reality stars were given a second chance to explore connections in the villa and find their match.

On June 20, 2024, Netflix Tudum posted a four-minute video featuring cast members Jessica Vestal, Harry Jowsey, Stevan Ditter, Alara Taneri, Micah Lussier, and Elys Hutchinson. In this clip, the Perfect Match cast answered questions with a red and green flag.

The show producers shared a statement and then the cast had to declare whether it was a deal breaker for them in a relationship. The video description states:
"For each juicy prompt, some of your favorite Netflix reality stars — Jess, Micah, Harry, Stevan, Alara, and Elys — will raise either a green flag for “more please” or a red flag for “hard pass!”"
The Perfect Match season 2 cast members share their relationship red flags
The first question referred to Dominique and Bryton's argument in the Perfect Match season 2 villa. In episode 1, the matched couple argued whether yoga was a real workout. Bryton also insisted that pilates wasn't a real exercise meanwhile Dominique argued that it was.
When Jess was asked whether it was a red flag for her partner to consider yoga a workout, she said yes. Alara also agreed with Jess' answer, the London native said she couldn't imagine a guy practicing yoga on a mat. Harry and Stevan, however, considered it a green flag. Mentioning pilates, Harry told the cameras that it is not an easy workout, he said:
"It is hard. Pilates is sick, don't even talk s**t about pilates."
Then Elys was asked whether having a podcast was a relationship deal breaker for her. She sarcastically replied:
"Give me a bigger flag!"
Viewers might already be aware of the Harry Elys beef on Perfect Match season 2. It is also known that Jowsey has a podcast, thus allegedly implying that Elys was calling her ex-boyfriend a red flag. In season 2, Elys and Harry were one of the strongest couples in the villa but this soon changed after the former went on a blind date.
Harry returns to the villa with his new girlfriend, the Love is Blind season 6 star Jessica Vestal, and later breaks up with Elys. She was upset and heartbroken by Harry's behavior.
Stevan also waved the red flag for this question allegedly hinting at Jowsey, he even called the Too Hot to Handle star a "walking red flag." One question that all cast members had the same answer to was whether their partner being friends with an ex is a red flag or not. Jowsey was quick to mention that he already has many friends so his partner shouldn't stay in contact with their ex. He stated:
"Why do you need to be friends with your ex? I got enough friends for all us."
