Perfect Match season 2 premiered on Netflix on June 7, 2024. Singles from across the Netflix universe came together to find love through the show. While many succumbed to the pressure, some survived the tests of love. Alara Taneri from Dated & Related and Stevan from Too Hot to Handle were featured in the second season of Perfect Match, where they found compatible partners in each other.
Immersed in their feelings for each other, Alara and Stevan, who first matched in episode 4, are still together in episode 9. Deemed as one of the strongest couples in the house, they have displayed potential to win the show. With the season finale around the corner, Alara and Stevan will compete with Tolu and Chris, Harry and Jessica, Izzy and Micah, Kaz and Christine, and Bryton and Elys for the title.

Stevan was first paired with Xanthi in episode 3. Fellow contestants Micah and Kaz decided to send Stevan on a date with Alara. Upon their first meeting, Stevan was immediately attracted to her. They enjoyed an adventurous date that included an ATV bike ride and champagne by a waterfall. After they returned home, Stevan was torn between Alara and Xanthi.
However, after much contemplation, he matched with Alara, marking Xanthi's exit from the house in episode 4. While confessing his feelings to her, Stevan showed confidence in his decision, which impressed Alara. He said:
"I want you to be my match. I think that out of everybody I've met in this house, you are my perfect match."
Later in episode 4, Stevan surprised Alara with a home-cooked meal to uplift her mood after they lost the compatibility challenge. Impressed by the impromptu date, Alara thought Stevan was "husband material."
In Perfect Match season 2 episode 5, Alara was caught in a dilemma as she struggled to choose between Dom, who was more her type, and Stevan, her current match. However, touched by Stevan's gesture to bring her flowers, Alara decided to match with him. Alara shared:
"Like, he [Stevan] makes me breakfast in the morning! Lunch, dinner. He unties my shoes. Like, he treats me like a princess, so I know I found my match, and I think he's perfect."
In episode 6 of Perfect Match season 2, Alara and Stevan went on a romantic date after winning a compatibility challenge. They described their connection as "natural," without any hesitations. By the end of the episode, they matched with each other yet again. Stevan said:
"There's so much else going on in the house that I almost feel like Alara and I are ... married. Like, we're just, like, we're so good, and it's great. Alara is ten times out of ten every night my match."
In episode 7 of Perfect Match season 2, Alara and Stevan's journey faced a hiccup when fellow contestants Kaz and Micah sent them on blind dates with Nigel and Brittan, respectively. Stevan enjoyed a moped bike ride on his date with Brittan, who was "110% his type." Meanwhile, Alara and Nigel from Too Hot to Handle experienced a romantic massage.
Stevan noticed Alara was upset about Brittan's entry into the Perfect Match house. In a private conversation with Alara, he confessed that he kissed Brittan on their date. However, he quickly revealed he was only joking to tease her and asked her to match with him, to which Alara responded positively.
Several couples' loyalty was tested in episode 8 when both boys and girls had their days out. However, Alara and Stevan sailed through the challenge with ease. Alara stated:
"Seeing all these singles, I'm definitely not worried about anybody 'cause there's no ifs or buts. I've got Stevan, and he's got me."
In episode 9 of Perfect Match season 2, several couples' relationships experienced turbulence. However, Alara and Stevan displayed a strong connection and became renowned as one of the strongest couples in the house. By the end of the episode, they matched with each other again. Alara said:
"And I'm yours. There's no one here for me or out there."
Content with what Alara brought into their relationship, Stevan expressed he had nothing to worry about and felt secure walking into the finale.
