Perfect Match season 2: Parents react to steamy scenes and more

Perfect Match season 2 is set to air its season finale on Friday, June 21, 2024. The dating reality show features stars who have previously appeared on other Netflix reality shows such as The Mole, Too Hot To Handle, The Trust, The Circle, Dated and Related, and more.

Ahead of the season finale, parents of several cast members who were heavily featured on the show watched back some of the most memorable moments from Perfect Match season 2. Given the format of the show, they were also some of the steamiest ones featured.

Grace Ekundare (Tolu's mother), Paul Hahn (Chris' father), and Paul Lussier (Micah's father) watched clips such as the kissing compatibility challenge, the game of truth and dare, and more, and gave fans their opinions of the same.

Tolu, Chris, and Micah's parents watch Perfect Match season 2 clips

The Perfect Match season 2 cast members, Chris, Tolu, and Micah's parents recently reacted to their children's appearances on the Netflix reality show. Ahead of the clip, Paul Hahn explained that Chris was a shy child growing up and eventually "came out of his shell."

Grace Ekundare noted that she didn't want to have to see clips of the Perfect Match season 2 star Tolu making out with someone, while Paul Lussier seemed prepared for anything.

"With her, I've seen a lot. It all. Her whole life. She's a character," Micah's father said.

Paul Lussier was shown a clip of Micah and Izzy interacting in episode one. He said he didn't like the guy "for some reason." In the first clip, Tolu's mother, Grace, was shown the kissing challenge, in which the cast members were blindfolded and had to kiss one another to rate them.

At the time of the challenge, Tolu had wondered how her parents would react to watching her kiss five men on television. At the time, the season 2 cast member had impersonated her father and said:

"Tolu Ekundare, is this what I sent you to TV to be doing? You are a child of God, you are kissing around dumb men on the beach?"

Tolu's mother laughed at the clip and said she wasn't going to tell her father about it.

Micah's father was also shown a clip of the same challenge and saw Micah and Harry Jowsey kiss. The father said she didn't like him. When it was revealed that Micah scored the most in the challenge, he said "Good for her."

"What the hell, it's a competition. We like the W's. We don't have to talk about what they're — what they were for."

Paul Hahn was shown a video of Chris telling everyone about his alter ego, Axel Stone. Paul said he was an "Italian stallion" at a casino in Atlantic City. The Perfect Match season 2 cast member's father was surprised to discover that Chris had slept with one of his clients in the past.

Paul and Grace were individually shown clips of Chris giving Tolu a lap dance. Ahead of the clip, Paul said Chris had "a white man's disease" and didn't think he could dance. He was again surprised and said he didn't "teach him that." Meanwhile, Grace giggled and said, "Tolu, Why?"

In a confessional, Tolu said she was hot but not bothered by the dance and Paul said he was bothered by it. Meanwhile, Grace said the clip was "good."

Micah's father continued to seemingly disapprove of Izzy as he was shown a clip of the two from season 2 episode 9 when the two matched after Kaz and Micah broke up.

"I feel kind of awkward, you know, I'm kinda—I think sometimes she can make her own mess that she has to clean up."

Chris' father was then shown the scenes about his interactions with Xanthi and Tolu and hoped his son would "come clean" and tell the truth. Grace was also shown the same clip and felt that Chris was "lying" to her daughter, Tolu.

The Perfect Match season 2 stars then joined their parents and they discussed what they watched. Paul told Chris he felt his son was "groveling too much at times." He also appreciated his son's dancing skills.

Tolu said she was "most nervous" for her mother to watch the kissing challenge and truth or dare. Grace said:

"It's okay. No, I freak out but it's okay. That's your new life, so get used to it."

Micah said she was also nervous about her father watching the Perfect Match season 2's kissing challenge and her father replied that he was "just overwhelmed" by the win.
