Perfect Match season 2 featured familiar faces from the Netflix reality TV universe including cast members Dominique and Bryton. Viewers might remember Dominique from Too Hot Too Handle and Bryton from Squid Game: the Challange.

On the dating series, the two stars matched with one another and hoped to be the winners of this season. However, their dynamic changed during the compatibility challenges when both would get into verbal fights and constant arguments.

When Harry and Elys won one of the tasks, they got to play matchmakers and sent Dominique on a date with Dated and Related star Chris.

Soon after her blind date, the Perfect Match participant realized Chris was a better choice for her. She explained to Bryton that they wouldn't last long in the game and it's for the best to part ways.

Perfect Match stars Dominique and Bryton broke up due to compatibility issues

On Perfect Match season 2 episode 1, Dominique and Bryton matched but soon got into a verbal fight about Pilates. Both of them were annoyed at each other and refused to listen to one another during the compatibility challenge.

Dominique told Bryton that he was too focused on Harry and Elys' performance which is why they didn't win. Meanwhile, Bryton stated if he didn't copy what they were doing, he and Dominique wouldn't have secured the second position.

While they were arguing, Dominique broke down crying, she asked Bryton why he was trying to take control of the conversation and talk down to her. The Perfect Match contestant said:

"Stop talking down to my face. I literally feel like you're speaking down to me. I feel like it's a constant tug of war for like you wanna be in control. You wanna feel you have the power of the conversation."

After Dominique went on a date with Chris, she realized it was a wise decision to break up with Bryton as they weren't on the same page. During her confessional interview, Dominique told the cameras:

"I want to match with Bryton but my head is telling me that I can't because if I match with Bryton I'm basically going to sacrifice my sanity. It's just kind of having a combat partner instead of a real-life partner."

When she explains that to Bryton, he tries to convince her they should explore their connection further. Bryton also felt that Chris was playing a character and didn't care about being by Dominique's side till the end.

When the new resident of the Perfect Match villa saw Bryton and Dominique talking, he interrupted them and asked the former to decide who she was choosing right there. Dominique felt uncomfortable around their "masculine energy" and left the room when she sensed tension between Chris and Bryton.

Dominique made her final decision to choose Chris as her partner in the villa, upon hearing this Bryton was disappointed. He left the villa without trying to match with someone else. Before heading home, Bryton said:

"Well, you saw Little Prince Charming walk in here, and, he's an interesting character. And excuse my French, but I do not f**k with that at all. And Dom was okay with that? Y'all got it, bro. Y'all got it. Hopefully, this is not the last you will see of me in this house."
