Competing in the season finale for the grand prize of $100,000 were three cast members Hud, Mackenzie, and Adam. During one of the tasks, Adam started bleeding and the medical help arrived immediately to wrap a bandage. Even after this incident, Adam didn't give up and went back to complete his task and ended up winning the Claim to Fame season 3. It was a surprising twist for the viewers.

In an interview with Parade Magazine on August 28, 2024, Adam shared what his thoughts were when he had to pause the game. He explained the reason behind being steadfast and following his willpower despite the injury. Adam reminded himself how hard he worked throughout the competition and that he didn't want to be disqualified. Reflecting back on that moment, he further explained:

"Yeah, that was pretty traumatic to watch. There was so much adrenaline pumping through my body. I honestly felt like I was 20 years old again. I was going so hard through these challenges and these stations."

Adam shares his experience of being on Claim to Fame season 3

Referring to his head injury, Adam mentioned what his experience being on Claim to Fame season 3 was like. As the final challenge was very intense, Adam stated he initially didn't realize that he was bleeding until he "sat down" to examine what had happened. When the medical team arrived to help him, the Claim to Fame winner was worried he might get sent to the hospital which meant he would have been disqualified from the competition.

So, after his wound was cleaned, Adam went back into the game to compete and was surprised at himself at how willing he was to win. During his interview, he admitted to his fellow contestants not lending him a helping hand in the final challenge. Adam shared he usually "rubs people the wrong way" even though he tried to be himself. He said:

"I'm just trying to be authentically myself. I do struggle with paying attention to things, and I miss out on some things here and there. I'm misunderstood for the most part, but I think what I lack in knowledge, I make up in enthusiasm and caring for people."

When the Claim to Fame star was asked about his plans linked to the final prize, he told the interviewer that he had already spent the grand prize. Adam revealed that his main goal was to gift his dad a new truck and winning the ABC show helped him do that. The season 3 winner mentioned:

"Well, I've already bought my dad a truck, and the rest is going to taxes. So that's it. Game over. I didn't come for the money. I came literally to get enough money to get my father a truck because he deserves a new truck."
