Sister Wives season 19 episode 9 released on November 10 on TLC. Titled Baptism By Fire, the episode featured a candid conversation between Janelle and Meri about the ongoing situation with the Coyote Pass property, discussing their respective shares and current stakes in the land.

Having all the financial information about the land, Janelle warned Meri to protect her interest in the property. While Meri believed that Kody wouldn’t abandon her, Janelle voiced her concerns, cautioning her former sister's wife to look out for herself.

"I'm gonna suggest to you that you protect your interest in it, as far as what you're entitled to a quarter of it," Janelle told Meri

Sister Wives star Janelle explains to Meri about the Coyote Pass property

In Sister Wives season 19 episode 9, Janelle visited Meri to explain the current situation of the Coyote Pass property. She told her fellow Sister Wives cast mate that the note of the property was due in 75 days and if they were not able to pay it off before that then they might lose all of it.

Janelle informed Meri that she had been talking to Kody about it for years and he always used to put her off saying that he didn't have any money.

While Meri expressed that she wasn’t overly concerned about the situation, she did reveal some worries, mentioning that she had assumed Janelle was managing all the finances. Janelle corrected her and said that she was just a bookkeeper.

The Sister Wives star further shared in her confessional:

"I am beginning to realize that Kody has been telling everybody that I somehow was controlling the money. Trust me, if I really was, we would be in a very different position."

Janelle advised Meri to protect her interest in the property, emphasizing that she was entitled to a quarter of it.

The Brown family bought four lots when they moved to Flagstaff at Coyote Pass to divide them up into five pieces of property and eventually build on them. Meri shared in her confessional that they were now at the point where they needed to pay it off in the next couple of months.

The Sister Wives star told Janelle that she believed they didn’t need any protection to secure their share of the property and mused that they might simply look out for each other. However, Janelle did not feel that Kody had their backs.

"Would Kody and Robyn really go into this thinking 'Maybe we should get all of the property?' I don't think that they're gonna screw us over," Meri shared in her confessional.

Meri is entitled to a quarter of the property's value. Her name is only on one piece, which she shares with Kody and Janelle. If the worst comes to pass and it's sold, Janelle shared in her confessional that Meri probably won't receive a quarter.

Meri noted to Janelle that if the two of them, along with Kody, came together, they could pay it off. However, Janelle reiterated what she had said before and reminded her former sister's wife that Kody told her he didn't have any money.

"I feel like everybody in the family has a different opinion about the other person, about what has been happening with the finances, and I don't know which of it is true. I'm not gonna take sides. I'm not gonna be in the ex-wives club. I'm not in the Kody and Robin club," Meri expressed in her confessional.

The Sister Wives star further added that while she doesn't expect Kody to take care of her, she wants him to act like a gentleman and be fair with the property.
