Season 5 of Love After Lockup released episode 38 on Friday, September 13. The latest segment saw a tiff between Zeruiah and Troy's mom, Karen. The former was mad because Karen brought up Zeruiah's past infidelity on a phone call with Yona, Troy's ex.
According to her, Karen already knew about the issue, so there was no point in bringing it up again. Zeruiah said she was the one who confessed to Troy about sleeping with another man while he was in jail. He had mentioned he wanted to keep these things in the past and start anew.
So, when Karen chatted with Yona about the same, Zeruiah lost it. She locked herself and Troy in the bedroom and yelled at Karen from the inside. Fans of Love After Lockup think Zeruiah's reaction was exaggerated and took to X to express their thoughts on the same.

"Zeruiah is an f-ing psycho," a fan said.
"Zeruiah is a brat. All that hollering and yelling is so unnecessary," another person wrote.

Many Love After Lockup fans pointed out the fact that her parents were pastors in the church who'd expect their daughter to abstain from such acts.

What happened with Zeruiah in episode 38 of Love After Lockup season 5?
Troy and Zeruiah's argument started with the latter locking herself up in the bedroom angrily. When Troy demanded her to open up, she did, but only to chuck her engagement ring on the floor. She asked him and his mother to leave her house.
Karen asked Troy to leave Zeruiah's house and go to her residence so that Zeriuah would get time to think. But Troy refused to leave, he instead knocked on Zeriuah's door again. She opened it up and asked him to come in; and as soon as he stepped into the room, she locked the door behind them.
Zeruiah then began yelling at him and his mother with the locked door. Cussing at the top of her voice, Zeruiah asked Karen why she would talk to Troy's ex about her cheating. Her dislike for Yona was apparent in the last episode where she refused to accompany Troy as he went to see his daughter because she didn't like Yona.
Things got so tense on Love After Lockup that a female producer, who was a part of the ongoing shooting, had to intervene. She knocked on an angry Zeruiah's door. Zeruiah in turn, opened the door for a split second only to throw out her mic attached to a piece of clothing.
