During her interview, the Shark Tank star Barbara shared that having insecurities is not necessarily a bad thing. She shared she was "all for insecurities" as they would help her prepare better and ahead of time.
Barbara mentioned there have been times when she doubted her capabilities, but rather than letting this tear her down, she looks at it in a positive light. Hence, this makes her "successfully insecure." while talking about imposter syndrome, Barbara said:
"What it does for me is, it makes me overprepare. it makes me dead serious about what I have to do even if I have done it a hundred times before. That comes from insecurity. But I'll do a better job because of the insecurity so I'm all for insecurity. I think I'm successfully insecure but definitely insecure and I hope to be for the rest of my career."
The Shark Tank investor elaborated that she faces insecurities even if she is well prepared and sometimes questions her abilities. Barbara told the interviewer that her insecurities have maintained her strength and assisted her to do a 'better job" than before. She continued:
"I deal with it all the time because I'm human, and it's a human condition. But I have to say, it has helped me tremendously to be less insecure."
