Meet the queens - Personal journeys and second chances at love

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star and award-winning R&B singer K. Michelle is one of the Queens this season. After introducing herself, she shared that she was at a "crossroads" in her life and implied that she was ready to take a big step ahead to find love. She added that she is at a stage where stability is needed in her personal and professional life.

K. Michelle expressed that she is the type of person who does not easily change or get swayed by anyone. She implied that transformation only comes into her life with drastic events and interventions

Flavor of Love season 2 winner, London “Deelishis” Charles is the second Queen of the series. In the trailer for Queens Court season 2, London described herself as a “hopeless romantic,” implying that she once believed in love and the idealized version of relationships.

However, London then corrected herself and shared that she was no longer a "hopeless romantic" due to her recent divorce. She had been married to Raymond Santana in June 2020 but filed for divorce in early 2022, citing her husband's alleged infidelity as the reason.

London is on the Queen Court show to have her second chance at love hoping that she will finally find the king that she deserves. She further added that she is called by the name 'Deelishis.' However, for the show, she said she would like to go by her first name 'London.'

The third new Queen of the series is LisaRaye McCoy. Previously, she was married to Michael Misick. However, after her divorce, a spot for a king was left empty in her heart. Speaking about having a second chance to find love in Queens Court season 2, she said:

"We weren’t meant to be on this earth by ourselves. We wasn’t meant to do life alone. My king, he’s out there somewhere and now I have a second chance to get it right. Right-er."

LisaRaye shared that she "went from an actress to a First Lady" and has a lifestyle she loves.

The Queens go on dates

The season 2 trailer indicates that LisaRaye, Michelle, and London will be introduced to "22 Hopeful Kings". These men will go on group and solo dates with the three Queens to solidify their stature.

The contestants will need to try their best to stand out and cement themselves in the heart of one of the Queen. The trailer showcases some of the solo dates where LisaRaye, Michelle, and London can be seen discussing their likes and dislikes of their potential "Kings".

The three Queens can eliminate those who are not fit for them

The Queens Court season 2 trailer shows that LisaRaye, Michelle, and London have the power to eliminate the contestants they think are not their future "King." The Queen can eliminate any man before saying "You are not my king".

The potential 'Kings' have to ensure that they are exclusively pursuing one Queen without being distracted by others. Failing to do so could jeopardize their chances and lead to trouble.

For viewers who want to catch up on Queens Court, the first season is available to stream on Peacock.
