"Ready to throw it away because I fell asleep?"— Love is Blind star Alexandra criticizes Tim for ending things with her

Love is Blind season 7 episodes 10 and 11 premiered on October 9 on Netflix. The experiment helped the American singles find love in that they did not care about an individual's looks. Alexandra and Tim were among the six couples who got engaged outside the pods. They joined their fellow engaged castmates on their honeymoon to Mexico to learn more about their respective partners.

Tim and Alexandra's relationship suffered a bump on the holiday when the couple had an explosive disagreement off camera. Although the issue was resolved, it planted a seed of doubt in the couple's minds. These doubts intensified as the couple returned to their lives outside the pods, leading to their breakup.

The pair met Tim's parents in episode 10. However, after their meeting and as the cameras went off, Tim felt disappointed when Alexandra went off to sleep. The 33-year-old confronted her fiance and broke up with her after their disagreement. Alexandra criticized Tim for ending their relationship for such a trivial issue.

"I told you I was gonna take this experiment to the very end. And I did not take you meeting my father and getting him that emotional so lightly. How dare you do that and then just throw it away after two days... Now you're ready to throw it away because I fell asleep?," she said.

Love is Blind star Tim breaks up with Alexandra

Following the meeting with Tim's parents in Love Is Blind season 7, episode 10, Tim confronted Alexandra about her behavior, which he found unappreciative. The web content strategist told his fiance that his parents drove ten hours to meet her; however, as soon as the cameras stopped filming, she decided to "go to sleep at the first opportunity."

"To me, it is telling, 'cause that's just not a choice that I would ever make. I'm not here to tell you how to live, your life, but for me, that was not okay," the Love is Blind contestant said.

Alexandra explained that she was tired and liked to take a nap. She said if she had known the meeting was important to him, she would have stayed up. After disagreeing and arguing over their communication issues, Alexandra added to her explanation:

"I get tired really easily. I don't know. I'm not trying to make an excuse. With your parents, I just talked to them for four hours. I didn't think it was that big of a deal to go to sleep for an hour."

The Love is Blind star further told Tim that he had problems communicating his thoughts to her and should have mentioned that the meeting was important to him.

Alexandra was ready to listen but felt that her partner didn't express himself and expected her to read his mind and be a perfect wife according to his expectations. She acknowledged that the issues weren't solely his fault, as they stemmed from both of them, and she was doing her part to work through it.

However, Tim had already decided and told Alexandra that after reflecting on what he wanted out of life and a wife, he thought they weren't a good fit for one another.

Tim broke up with Alexandra, and before leaving, he said:

"There's a lot I could respond to, but there is no scenario that I see myself standing there and saying yes to making you my wife forever. And with that in mind, and I'm glad we can at least agree, I don't ever wanna see you again."
